Valerie's POV
The weekend is over and I don't still have the courage to face everyone at school mom won't even let me not more because of a boy I have to come up with a plan to skip school....
"Valerie hurry up or you'll be late" my mum yells from downstairs
"I'm sorry mum for waiting but you'll have to go without me" I say looking at her from upstairs
"What you aren't dressed you are going to be late and you expect me to just leave? And have you been crying?" Okay Val come up with a lie
"Mum I'm on my period and I'm having cramps and you know sometimes I get emotional " I say trying to avoid looking at her
"But we on your period early last week " she says raising an eyebrow
'Think Val think'
"Mum you know all these stuff they can come twice or surprisingly" I say pretending to be feeling pains at my abdomen
"Oh love should I stay with you?" She ask making her way upstairs
"No no mum it's okay you don't want to skip work on your second month it wouldn't speak well of you I'll be fine" i say trying my best to convince her
"Yeah I guess you are right okay dear take care" she says making her way to the door
"Phew " I say feeling relived went back to bed to cry more .
Yup I've been crying not only because of what Chase did but I felt like a fool I mean first Jason and now Chase I'm so unlucky with boys i think I prefer single life no strings attached and this is the first boy that I've allowed to be so intimate, I guess first I need to apologise to Cami for cutting her off like that....
"Um.. hey Cami" I say adjusting my hair back into the messy bun
"So you finally decide to talk uh?" She says giving me an angry face but deep down I know she just wants an apology
"Okay fine I screwed up I'm sorry I should have listened but what do you expect it thought i finally found a nice guy but see i even got worst more worse about what Jason well I guess single life is the best after all"
"Nope you are just saying it because you've been hurt twice that's all you'll see you'll find your prince charming" she says winking
"I hope so" I say unsure
"Hey Val are you not supposed to be in school"
"You don't expect me to go and face more humiliation I mean the comments were already killing not to talk of their eyes" I say walking to my dressing table to get my lays potatoe chips
"Since when did you care what people say about you?"
"Since I read that murderous comments "
"It can't be that bad I mean they are just comments"
"Really uh? Okay check his page "
"Alright what's his name?" She ask grabbed her phone
"Um.. it's C.H.A.S.E"
"Okay I've seen it . Okay I agree with you the comments are terrible but you don't intend on skipping school till the end the school year?" She ask looking at her phone screen
" I know I'll have to go but I wanna gather up all the courage maybe after two weeks"
"Did your mum let you skip?"
"About that I lied to her "
"Val you are my best friend and what ever decision you decide to make I'll support you" she says smiling
"Thanks so much Cami I love you so much" I say trying to brighten up
"Me too bye girl" she says before cutting up.
I get up carrying my laptop to my bay window to watch After really after what hardin did to her she could still walk around heart broken I can't wait for After 2 to come out I'm so curious to know if Tessa forgave Hardin......
Do you think Valerie shouldn't mind and just go back to school or she's right for skipping classes
