   Trigger warning. Swearing

   Craig's pov

I swayed slightly to the beat of whatever song was playing, a red solo cup in my hand. I closed my eyes as I managed to lose myself in the music. At first, I really hadn't wanted to be here. Of course, a few drinks later and I was more than happy to be mindlessly dancing with some random chick. I knew she was thinking she was going to get lucky, but sadly for her, I am gay. It took me a while to finally admit that, but here I am.

I opened my eyes when the song ended, deciding I wanted a break from all the noise and the physical contact. It was a bit of sensory overload and I really needed a cigarette. I silently slipped away from the girl and made my way towards the back door of Token's house. I figured no one would be in the backyard but, of course, I was wrong. I found none other than Stan Fucking Marsh. Don't get me wrong, I have no real problem with him. Other than the fact that he caused my gay awakening with those pretty blue eyes of his, and that crooked smile very few get the chance to see.

I shook my head to clear my thoughts and took my cigarette pack out of my pocket, slipping one between my lips and quietly lighting it. I took a long drag as I walked towards Stan. I felt the nicotine rush to my head and I grinned a little, feeling much better than I had a few seconds ago. I tapped Stan on the shoulder, wanting to offer him the cigarette. Before I could speak, though, I saw tears staining the shorter boy's cheeks. My lips parted, wanting to say something, anything, but nothing came out. Stan sniffled and quickly wiped his cheeks before turning his body towards me. He refused to meet my gaze.

"Uh, hey, Craig," he mumbled as he stared at the ground. I took another drag off my cigarette, desperately trying to regain my composure.

"Hey, Stan," I said quietly as I offered him the cigarette. He gladly took it from me, taking a long drag off of it. He tried to hand it back to me but I just shook my head. He definitely needed it more than I did. He nodded his thanks and continued smoking the cigarette. I looked down as I scratched my neck, not really knowing what to say.

"I'm sorry you saw me like that," he chuckled sadly. I looked back up at him to be met with his sad blue eyes. It broke my heart to see how sad he truly was. I frowned. Without thinking, I wrapped my arms around the shorter boy's shoulders, pulling him into a tight embrace. He quickly dropped the cigarette, clutching the back of my hoodie as he quietly cried into my chest. I rubbed circles into his shoulder, wishing I could make the pain go away. As his grip on me tightened, I pulled him closer, resting my head on top of his. I just wanted to make everything better. I heard Stan sniffle and chuckle lightly.

"I'm sorry I cried all over your hoodie," he said, being muffled by said hoodie. I grinned as I gently pulled him back. I looked down at my chest, the hoodie being damp and wrinkly. I shook my head and looked at Stan, smiling softly.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked gently.

"N-not right now," he said, looking back down at the ground. I gently tilted his chin up, forcing him to make eye contact with me. He looked nervous and sad and I hated it. I just wanted him to look happy, to be happy.

"Would you like to stay at my place tonight?"

"Craig, I couldn't. I don't want to be any more of an inconvenience than I already have been," he mumbled sadly. I frowned, my brows furrowing slightly.

"Shut up, Marsh. You are not an inconvenience." Stan sighed softly, nodding after a few seconds.

"Then, yes. I'd like to stay the night with you."

This one is a bit short and it was a little bit rushed, sorryyyy. Anyways, feel free to point out any errors or give me constructive criticism, it is greatly appreciated :)
