"Hey," you greeted Justin and bent down to his level, planting a quick small kiss on his soft cheek. "Hey," he greeted you back as you took a seat at the small table in front of him. You and Justin were currently in a small deli called McAllisters. You invited him their because lately you've been feeling a little down and needed to get everything off your chest. "I ordered you a large sweet tea," he pointed at your sweet tea. You thanked him and grabbed a straw, removing the cover off of it and sticking it down inside your tea. "Mhm. So what'd you need to talk about?" he asked as he sat back in his chair and sipped his tea, his warm brown eyes staring back at you. You licked your lips and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. "Lately, I've been feeling....alone," you admitted and Justin raised his thick brown eyebrows. "What do you mean?" Justin asked confused. You sighed and fiddled around with your fingers on the table, now noticing that a few people were taking pictures of you and Justin. You were used to it so it didn't bother you much. "I'm here for you," Justin said and reached over the table, placing his big warm hand on top of yours. "That's just it Justin," you snapped and moved your hand from underneath his. "You're never there," you complained and Justin looked at you in disbelief. "Babe what are you-" "You're always away on trips for work and when you're in town, you're never with me. You're always at the studio working late," you admitted and stared into his eyes that weren't as they were at first. "I try my best to be with you *yn* but I have a job and I have fans. That's just a part of what I do. It's my job *yn* and you know that. You knew what you were signing up for when you started dating me. Dating me comes with consequences," he shrugged and took another sip of tea. You stared at him in disbelief. He's sitting here acting like neglecting his girlfriend isn't a problem. "No. I didn't sign up for this and I didn't know you would be away from me almost every day of the week. I didn't know that you'd stop answering your phone every time I called and that you'd not give a crap about your girlfriend feeling neglected by you because of your busy schedule," You rolled your eyes and shook your head at him. "I'm trying *yn*. What else do you want me to do? Quit work just because you're being bitter over a small schedule?" he rolled his eyes back at you. "I want you to stop thinking about your career just for a second and think about me for once. Do you even remember me? I'm *yn*! Your girlfriend!" You whined and he groaned. "You act like it's my fault!" he argued and threw his hands in the air. "It is your fault. Maybe if you'd take some time to yourself and girlfriend, we wouldn't be in this situation," you argued back. "Damn it *yn*, I'm trying!" he slammed his fists onto the table, getting a lot of people's attention. You looked around in embarrassment then looked at him. "Seriously calm yourself. We're in public Justin," you whispered, all eyes on you. "I don't care *yn*! Let them look!" he yelled, cameras immediately starting to record you guys. You looked at him in disbelief before grabbing your purse and putting it on your shoulder. "I can't do this anymore," you whispered and shook her head. "Do what?" Justin seethed between gritted teeth. "Us! This! This mess of a relationship! I don't want to feel neglected anymore Justin! If I have to be ignored by you for days because of your job, I don't want a damn thing to do with you!" you cursed, becoming furious. "No *yn*-" "Goodbye Justin," you stood up and casually walked away from the table, leaving Justin there all alone. You heard him yelling things behind you but you ignored him and left as quickly as possible, a few tears escaping your eyes.1 month later ( now )-
It had now been a month since you and Justin broke up due to his busy schedule. It had been hurting you ever since because you still love him with all your heart but you just couldn't dare enter such a toxic relationship again. You'd only be neglected even more due to the fact that he was now touring again. You were backstage at the AMA'S ( American Music Awards ), about to do an acoustic performance of your new hit single "Stay" ( pretend you originally wrote it ). You had wrote the song while you were still in a relationship with Justin. He was once again away on a business trip and wasn't answering your phone calls. The only way to let out your feelings was to write it down in your lyric notebook. Justin has yet to know about the song but you're sure he will soon. He already knows you're performing tonight. "*yn* are you ready?!" your manager asked you and you nodded your head as the hairstylist picked at your curled hair. "Follow me," your manager Candice called and you did just that. You followed her into the middle of the dark stage, which would be opening soon. "Ready?" she asked and you nodded, preparing yourself. You could hear the host introducing you. "Good luck," your manager whispered and you thanked her. She quickly exited the stage. "Performing her new hit single "Stay", *yfn* ( your full name )!" the host said and the stage you were on became the main stage. The lights turned on just a tiny bit as your band began to play. You stared out at the hundreds of people in front of you. "All along it was a fever. A cold sweat hot-headed believer. I threw my hands in the air, said, "Show me something," you sang softly into the mic, the crowd quieting down. "He said if you dare, come a little closer. Round and around and around, and around we go. Oh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know," you continued to sing, getting more into the song. While performing the song, your face landed on a familiar face in the crowd. Blonde hair that was perfectly quiffed up? Brown eyes? Those same perfect plump lips? "Funny you're the broken one but I'm the only one who needed saving. Cause when you never see the light it's hard to know when one of us caving," your voice cracked at the end once you realised who it was in the crowd. "Not really sure how to feel about it, something in the way you move," you sang weakly, tears flooding your eyeballs. He stared straight into your eyes watery eyes, before throwing his hood over his head and disappearing through the crowd. Your heart fell out of your chest and tears fell out of your eyes. "I want you to stay," you sang shakily, the song ending. The crowd immediately went wild and you smiled. You wiped a tear away before thanking them for giving you a listen. The stage went dark and you walked backstage. Once again, your heart fell out of your chest once you saw who was standing there waiting for you. You immediately ran into his arms and he hugged you hard. You returned the gesture as you sobbed. "I'm so sorry baby girl," he whispered and soothingly rubbed small circles on your back. "I'm sorry too. I'm sorry I didn't give you another chance and I'm sorry I blamed you for everything. I'm sorry for making you feel like shit. I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry," you cried and Justin layed his head on top of yours, giving your hair a small kiss. "You're ok. We're ok. We're gonna be ok," he whispered and against your head and closed his eyes. "We'll be ok," he whispered one last time.
The End!
