Chapter 11

The limo pulled up to the hall August and I rented out for our wedding reception. After our wedding party walked in, the both of us walked in holding hands. Tonight by John legend played & the DJ got on the mic.

"Everyone give a hand for Mr. & Mrs. Alsina."

August and I both smiled as everyone applaud for us. I was very happy that our plates were already made. August and I took no time to sit down and eat. Family and friends walked over to congratulate us before the servers served them food.

I stuffed a crab ball in my mouth. "Babe can I ask you something?"

August washed down the piece of chicken he ate with his fruit punch. "Wassup baby, talk to your husband." August smirked. "You like the sound of that, huh?"

I playfully punched August in his arm. "Don't get cocky with it." I sat my cup down. "What took you so long to show up? I want to know why you were late to our wedding."

August damn near choked on his own spit. "Cha and Ci ain't tell you I got a surprise for you?"

I furrowed an eyebrow. "What kind of surprise?"

"Well..." August played with the bottom of his cup. "It wouldn't be a surprise if I tell you." He nervously chuckled.

I sucked my teeth, I know August is lying he's acting to weird. "You know imma let it go for now, but you better tell me the truth later." I scoffed.

August nodded his head. "Aight baby.. Damn you know a Nigga to well." He chuckled.

"I'm your wife, im suppose to." I smiled and pecked his cheek causing him to grin.

After we finished eating it was time for our first dance. All my life by K-Ci and JoJo played. August wrapped his arms around my waist & I wrapped my arms around his neck. We both gazed into one another eyes grinning from ear to ear. Besides the day I gave birth to Kenzie and Kayla this is one of the best days of my life.

August pecked my lips. "I love you so much Girl."

I blushed and chuckled. "I love you too baby."

"You're the best thing that ever happened to me, you changed a nigga in a good way."

I swear my cheeks were hurting from smiling so much. I love when Aug vent his feelings to me.

"Said, I promise to never fall in love with a stranger,
You're all I'm thinking of, I praise the Lord above,
For sending me your love, I cherish every hug,
I really love you."

As the song continued to play I laid my head on August chest while we slow danced. I embraced this moment, I feel safe in my baby's arms.

As the song came to an end everyone jumped up on the dance floor as the DJ Started playing line dances. We did the cupid shuffle, wobble dance, electric slide, cha-cha slide, and etc. I stayed on the dance floor until my feet started hurting in these heels. I grabbed a chair and sat down to rest my feet for a few. I glanced over at Mckenzie and Mckayla dancing with Christian. Ciara and I both laughed as August approached the girls, who knows what he's saying. I wouldn't be surprised if he's being an over protective dad, their just kids they have no clue what they are doing. Kayla and Kenzie are at that stage where they copy whatever they see. I took a sip of my white wine as the bartender served me some. I could live like this forever.

Mama Sheila walked over towards me and hugged me. "I want to thank you so much." Mama sheila wiped the tears falling from her eyes.

I furrowed an eyebrow. "Thank me for what?"  I chuckled.

"Look how happy my son is, that's all because of you." She pecked my cheek.

I couldn't help but smile. "He makes me happy also mama."

"You two keep it up." She leaned over to whisper in my ear. "Make me some more grandbabies too." She joked.

I busted out laughing. "The twins are enough." I said through laughs causing her to laugh with me.

August came over and wrapped his arms around my waist. "What y'all over here laughin' bout, I wanna laugh too shit."

I elbowed August. "It's a woman to woman talk." Mama Sheila took the words right out my mouth. I nodded my head agreeing.

August sucked his teeth. "It's cool, I see how it is."

Mama Sheila and I exchanged looks and began laughing all over again. After talking to my mother in law for a few. I decided to start the Bridal Toss. Chandra, Claire, Ciara, and a couple of other ladies spread out behind me. On the count of three I tossed the flowers backwards.

"I got em' boo." I turned around to see Chandra jumping up and down. August face palmed his self.

"Ah shit." August yelled.

Trey, Chris, Lance, and some other guys spread out behind August. August threw the Garter and to my surprise Trey caught it.

"Oh hell Naw." August yelled. "We gotta re-do that."

Everyone busted out laughing. "Calm your tits Aug, Trey and I got this."  Chandra rolled her eyes as she walked over towards Trey.

"You know Trey is bae." Chandra joked. August looked like he was ready to fuck shit up, just because he know how Trey is.

I tugged at August arms. "Come on babe, let's go get our honeymoon started." I bit my bottom lip causing Aug to get excited. I was really trying to distract him from Trey and Chandra. Chandra is a grown woman and Trey know's not to fuck up with Chandra or Aug will come after his ass.

"You only gotta tell me once baby, I been picturing you that dress all morning." August whispered in my ear.

"Well imagine me out of it now." I tugged at his suit. August pressed his manhood against my ass and I could feel it harden. I'd be a liar if I say I'm not turned on because I am.

August and I walked around telling everyone goodbye and thanked them for coming. Mckayla and Mckenzie damn near clinged to the both of us.

"How long are y'all going to be gone?" Kenzie pouted.

"Just a few days baby girl, we'll be back." Aug picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"I don't want you and daddy to go mommy." Kayla tugged on my dress. I kneeled down to kiss her forehead.

"Mommy and daddy don't want to leave y'all two either, we'll be back." I sighed. "Be good for Auntie Ci and Uncle Chris, okay?" They both nodded their heads.

After departing our children, I was stopped by a familar young lady. I furrowed an eyebrow, as I started to remember her.

"Jordin? Dr. Sparks?" I asked.

Jordin smiled and nodded her head as she tried to hug me, I pushed her arms away from me as August walked up and hugged me from behind.

"Look Jewel, I'm not here to start any drama I just wanted to congratulate you and August. I wish you two the best." Jordin handed us a bag.

"Thanks Jordin, Lance in their." Aug nodded his head letting Jordin know it was okay for her to go in and find him.

Jordin walked by us both to walk inside. "What was that all about?"

"Baby calm down that's Lance sister."

"Oh." I bluntly said. I don't care we're about to leave any damn ways.

August grabbed my hands. "Change of plans, we're going to Hawaii for our honeymoon."

My mouth dropped as I jumped into his arms. "Oh my gosh baby are you serious?"

August nodded his head. "Made reservations and everything, ya man knows people...surprise baby." Aug pecked my forehead.

Hubby and I are on our way to Hawaii babyyyyy!!!
