I Do!

Chapter 5

Jewel

I've been texting August like every hour to make sure he's alright and resting. I hate being away from my baby, I just need to make sure he's doing what he's suppose to do. I know Aug is agitated by me constantly texting him, but I don't care.

Claire & ciara walked in my office, I looked up from my phone.

"Hey guys." I smiled, but who said my smile was real? I'm hiding my worries behind my smile.

"Jewel what's up with you girl? You've been constantly picking with your phone all morning." Claire folded her arms.

I tucked my hair behind my ear. I couldn't even think of a quick lie especially with Claire and Ciara eyeing me down like crazy.

"It's about Aug ain't it?" Ciara asked. "Jewel he's fine! I'm sure if he wasn't he'd call you in a heart beat you know he's a big baby."

I rolled my eyes. "Leave my baby alone." I chuckled. Ciara's right, Aug is the biggest baby on earth, but he's my baby.

"I don't want to see you look at your phone again until work is over!" Claire stared at me. "Besides I have some juice to spill." Claire nervously bit down on her bottom lip.

Ciara & I side eyed eachother patiently waiting for Claire to spill the juice.

"Eh em." Ciara cleared her throat. "We're waiting."

Claire nervously chuckled. "Okay guys, soooo... Lance and I had sex."

"Okay? Didn't y'all have sex before?" I laughed. This was nothing new to Ciara and I.

Claire ran her fingers down her silky blonde hair. "Yeah, but that's not all." Claire covered her red face. "It was soooo awesome that he made me scream it guys."

Ciara and I looked confused, clearly neither one of us know what she's talking about.

"Scream what?" I asked sounding confused.

"He made me scream I love you."

Ciara and I both jumped up to run over towards her. "Oh my god, what did he say?" Ciara took the question right out of my mouth.

"He didn't notice until I was about to...yall know." Claire blushed. "But he said he loves me too, and he was extra hyped."

"I'm so happy for you Claire you deserve it!" I hugged Claire. Claire really does deserve Lance, he's a good guy.

"Thanks Jewel, I'm happy for you too soon to be Mrs. Alsina!"

I smiled so hard my cheeks started to hurt. Each day is getting closer to the day August & I get married.

Claire

After work I went straight home to my man. I've been thinking about Lance all morning. I haven't felt this way in so long. I furrowed an eyebrow as I seen a unfamiliar car parked in front of my house. I parked my car in the driveway and hopped out. I quickly walked into the house, only to see a tall light skinned young woman sitting on my black leather sofa.

"Lance." I yelled.

Lance quickly walked from the kitchen into the living room with the biggest grin on his face.

"Baby your home early." He gripped my waist and pecked my lips.

I smiled. "I didn't know you had company." I furrowed an eyebrow, I was clearly trying to get him to introduce me to this lady siting on my couch.
