Chapter 10

August

I pulled up to the church, I paid the driver his money and hopped out. I quickly ran up the steps to the church where my bodyguards were waiting.

"You good yungin'?" One of my bodyguards asked.

I dapped him up. "I'm good bruh." I scratched my head. "Aye do me a favor and call backup just in case Omari and Asia try to ruin the wedding."

"Aight man, we got you." Juel said pullin' out his phone.

I nodded my head and walked into the church where Chandra and Ciara pulled me into a room and closed the door. Chandra pulled me into a tight hug.

"This the only time I'll hug you this tight." Chandra joked. "I'm glad you're okay, mannnn CiCi and I was lookin' everywhere for you man." She kissed my cheek.

I chuckled. "How'd you escape and who kidnapped you?" Ciara asked. "Nevermind answer those questions later, go get dressed please Jewel upstairs bout to have a damn heart attack."

I ran my hands down my face about to run to the dressing room, but Chandra pulled me back by my shirt. "One more thing, make sure you surprise Jewel with something amazing."

I furrowed an eyebrow, I'm hella confused.

"Oh yeah, Chandra and I told Jewel you were trying to surprise her with something."

I shook my head and laughed. "Good lookin' y'all, let me go get in this tux right quick fa' she really have a heart attack."

Chandra and Ciara laughed and nodded their heads agreeing. I ran towards the dressing room to get dressed. It feels good as hell to be free, now the nervousness startin' to hit a nigga.

Asia

I didn't realize I was still laying on the basement cement until I felt myself being shook. "Get the hell up Asia." Omari yelled.

"What?" I asked as Omari picked me up, now I was standing on my feet.

"Where the hell is August?"

I ran my fingers through my crinkly hair, I know it's a mess now. August pushed me pretty hard, I guess I deserved that.

"He escaped."

The veins started to pop out of Omari neck, that moment I knew he was angry as hell. "Didn't I tell you not to let him escape! You failed to do the job just like your stupid ass mother."

I flinched from the base in his voice, I hated when Omari yelled like this. "My mama isn't stupid, you're just mad because Jewel left you." I scoffed. I flipped my hair gettin' ready to head up the steps until I felt myself being pulled down the steps.

"What did you just say to me?" Omari threw me up against the wall clenching my shirt.

I didn't say anything, I must admit I'm scared as hell. Omari turned into a damn monster after him and Jewel got divorced.

"I'll kill you if you ever talk to me like that again." He yelled. "I'll fucking kill you like I killed Jewel's grandmother, since she couldn't keep her fuckin' mouth shut."

My eyes widened and I began to feel tears build up in my eyes. I didn't know Omari killed Jewel's grandmother, I refuse to say anything because I'll be damned if his crazy ass kill me. I didn't say another word, I just looked at Omari and gulped as he released his strong hands from my shirt. I felt onto the ground and brushed myself off. I got back up speed walking up the steps.
