Isabelle had a particularly bad couple of days.
There was no doubt about it, it could be shown on the basis of her scowl, and the tears that were streaming down her face. Isabelle had only one thought that was coursing through her mind, the town known as Mystic Falls.
Mystic Falls. This was the town that Isabelle had believed to have brought a curse down on her.
Anyway, Isabelle had recently lost her parents. She was devastated by that, that they were really gone, and the cause of death was one that was unexplainable. This all had happened right before she had left Mystic Falls.
Ever since her family had visited Mystic Falls, her life was one that was full of despair. There was no doubt about it, Isabelle Flores had been cursed. At the moment though, she had begun to curse at every spirit that could hear what she was saying.
Her only rock at the moment, her best friend Katherine Pierce
The two had met in Mystic Falls, and ever since then had become best friends. There was something that was inexplainable about their bond. The two had just clicked form the moment that they had met.
Isabelle was upset that since that day when she had spoken to the stranger, she had not met or even seen Nik.
She had met him the same day that she had found out her parents and died. The night that she had to spend laughing away with a man that she had never met, that was the exact same night that Isabelle has lost her family.
She was devastated by the news.
"How do I go on without them?" Isabelle sobbed into Katherine's arms.
This was a situation that Katherine had spent little time dwelling in, losing a loved one and grieving. She had left all of her emotions of loss and suffering with her dead family, who had died due to Klaus' rage.
"You'll get through it, I know you will," Katherine had spoken in reassurance.
Isabelle had made a decision that would set a chain of events that were out of her control.
"I want to leave," Isabelle spoke up all of a sudden.
"And go where?" Katherine had asked.
"I just want to leave this small town and travel," Isabelle replied with sighing as though she was a child asking for something from her parent.
On the other hand, she also sounded as though she was exhausted.
"My parents had left me more than enough to travel as much as I want," and that was true.
"I might come back sometime in the future. I just can not be here, there are too many memories in this town for me to be able to handle," Isabelle added on.
Isabelle knew that this decision was rash and one that she had not spent much time thinking about.
Isabelle knew that she had wanted to leave the little town of Mystic Falls, but she had hoped that she would have something to come back to when she had left.
More specifically, she wanted her parents to be waiting for her in her house and approving of the fact that their child wanted to travel.
Though beggars can not be choosers, and Isabelle knew that better than anyone now.
She had chosen to leave Mystic Falls for good, and never come back.
This decision was one that was incredibly upsetting for Katherine. With Isabelle leaving Mystic Fall and thus leaving Katherine alone, the girl would have one less person who likes her in this town.
Katherine had become somewhat of a protector for Isabelle, but even Katherine knew that Isabelle needed to do this on her own, and on her own terms.
Though, they had remained in contact for a very long time.
