Wonpil has only been in this school for three weeks and Dowoon still can't believe how pretty the boy was. He admired the older's features whenever he was given the chance.

He couldn't help it, but he did know it was very creepy. So he decided to try his best not to stare today.

"Okay class, today we will learn subtracting and adding negative numbers. Just a heads up, there will be a quiz next class."

Every student in the room groaned and complained but Wonpil didn't bother with such actions. He already knew this stuff so the quiz would prove to be no problem for him. He didn't pay much attention though, he drew for most of the lesson and answered any question the teacher asked him with ease.

He was the star student of the subject.

And with this knowledge, students obviously grew to hold grudges against the child. Not that he knew of that anyways.

Dowoon noticed the flares came Wonpil's way every time he spoke to answer the teacher. He couldn't help but feel worry over this but he can't do much at the moment. For now, he'll just have to sit and be calm.

Wonpil didn't bring lunch today and he sure as hell didn't bring any money to boy some. So he sat at the very same table as he always does. He liked it there, it was peaceful, calm, and he was able to think without interruption. He didn't bring a book to read to the lunch room so he was just left with his thoughts.

He thought of what he would do when he gets home or what kind of snack would his mom today. Wonpil knew he was very luck to be given parents like his. He knows that there are many out there who either can't provide for their family or just neglects their kids. He was grateful for what he has and never thought much of it.

"Hey, loser, get out of my table." Said a deep voice. Wonpil got out of his thoughts and looked up from his seat to face the person who called him out. He didn't know who this person was but recognized him from class.

"I'm sorry, but it's been empty for almost a month so I didn't think much of it." Wonpil spoke softly as to avoid any form of negative tension that was already growing between them.

The classmate shook his head and pushed Wonpil out of his seat and onto the floor. He didn't do any more than that, luckily, all he did was sit down and glare at Wonpil as he gets up from the floor.

He bowed down to the bully, "I apologize for the inconvenience." and then he was off. Where to—he didn't know—but it was somewhere.

"Wonpil-Hyung! Over here!" A voice called out. Wonpil stopped at his tracks and saw yet another classmate of his walk up to him. But he saw no signs of intimidation from this person, they had a friendly smile that practically glowed. "I'm Dowoon, a classmate of yours. Come, you could sit with my friends, they are a bit older though."

Dowoon didn't know what had made him become so confident that he was able to speak so freely to Wonpil. But he had felt terrible for not being able to help with the bully situation that had happened and this was the only way he could make up for it. He showed Wonpil to his table and introduced his friends one-by-one.

Wonpil smiles at them, "Kim Wonpil, pleasure to meet Dowoon's friends." He sat down next to Dowoon and Sungjin. The child moved a little uncomfortably when he felt a pair of eyes glare down at him.

Jae simply observed Wonpil, he didn't mean any harm by it. But if Wonpil wanted to be apart of the 'gang' then he needed a nickname that he was sure to hate. "I got it!" Jae exclaimed in English.

"What is it?" Younghyun asked while speaking to Jae in the older's native language. He watched as Jae stood from his seat and point accusingly at Wonpil with a smirk.

"You will now be named Snake!"

Everyone but Wonpil face palmed internally. Wonpil only gave a look of relief which soon turned to one of confusion. "Why Snake?"

Jae shrugged before he sat back down on his chair. Younghyun only gave a disappointed sigh at his friend, he wondered why he even bothered trying to talk to Jae at this point. Probably because he likes trouble.

"So, lets just ignore Jae and talk about your day." Sungjin changed the subject, trying to avoid explaining why Jae so desperately needed to make a nickname for Wonpil.

"There really isn't much to it. I guess meeting you guys was the highlight of my day?"

"Was that a question or a for sure answer?!" Jae said loudly. Though nobody but Younghyun understood him, they knew he was probably talking about the questioning tone in Wonpil's reply.

Sungjin didn't think much about it though, he simple smiled at the younger male, "Looks like this one is the aegyo of the group. Sorry, Dowoon, he took your title."

The next day, Dowoon made it his goal to at least start a small conversation before class starts. So, the moment he saw the cute older male walk into the classroom, he stood from his seat.

"Hey, Wonpil-Hyung. How did your walk home go?" He asked awkwardly. Dowoon was beyond pissed at himself for asking such a question. It didn't make much sense to ask but the deed has been done.

Wonpil only gave his sunshine smile, "It was great, thank you. How was your walk?"

Dowoon stiffened at the sight of the boy's smile, he didn't expect it to be so...so...he can't even describe it that was just how—whatever it was! "I-It was fine...too..." he became flustered and stuttered his first few words but managed a sentence.

"Glad to heat that." Wonpil walked to his seat when he sensed the conversation was over. But he was greeted with that same bully from before sitting on his seat. Dowoon was following Wonpil since his desk was in the same row, so he noticed the intruder that dare to sit in someone else's chair.

"What ya gonna do 'bout it, huh?" He spoke with intimidation that practically demands to be called king. Dowoon shook his head and glared down at the  man. He scoffed and looked at Wonpil.

"You can just sit next to my desk, it doesn't matter anyway." He guided Wonpil calmly to the desk besides his. No one had actually ever sat there so it was fine for Wonpil to be there.

Classes went smoothly and Dowoon and Wonpil even chatted some more whenever they had the chance. Dowoon couldn't help but notice how much that smile of Wonpil's could literally light up the whole room—no—the world.

"Hey, since you live close to the school, I can drop you off home and continue to my place. I'm pretty sure it's on my way there anyway." Dowoon offered his new friend. He honestly wanted to take the chance to know where Wonpil lives so maybe when the time comes he can visit every now and then.

Wonpil looked unsure but agreed to this seeing as it was always a little lonely when walking home and to school by himself.

The walk was peaceful and short, just about 10 minutes long. They laughed and even played the all too well known 'I spy with my little eye' game. Dowoon loved the small time that they shared.

It was like the world begged him to savor this moment.

And so he did. It was something he was sure to never forget.
