Wonpil stretched his arms before getting out of bed and doing his normal routine. He still lived with Kimoon but since the house had a guest room, she sleeps there. They were happier as roommates and friends than they were when dating. It seemed more comfortable and calming, they trusted each other and view each other as siblings now.
He tells her everything and she does the same, it was a unique bond but it is what it is.
"Wonpil!!!! Get your lumpy ass over here, right now!!!"
The male shivered internally, she was mad that is scary. He quickly went to the kitchen where he saw his ex girlfriend standing angrily and pointing to the dirty dishes that were in the sink.
"It was your turn to do the dishes!" She shook her head and sighed, "Your lucky I'm so nice, I'll do it, but next time you better not forget." Even though she was being considerate, she still had an angry tone in her voice.
Wonpil, having been dating her for a year, was used to her way of nice deeds and was acting quite calm when facing her in her angered state. "I don't know if I should be scared or thankful..." he mumbled. He walked out to the couch and layes on it. The shop was closed today so they were able to relax.
"So...Dowoon invites us to watch his band play at this bar." Kimoon spoke as she lifted Wonpil's legs and put them on her lap when she sat down. "You wanna go?"
The boy nodded and changed the channel, "Sounds fun, what time?"
Kimoon opened her phone and checked her messages with the young drummer, "At 1 am. Will you be up by then, you tend to sleep early."
"I'll be fine, plus I was offered to join their band, might as well see how they play."

"Wake your ass up, drum!!!!" Yelled a chicken who threw a pillow at Dowoon as an attempt to wake him up. The drummer groaned and pushed Jae off before walking out to the bathroom hearing the curses that came from Jae.Today was gonna be rough since they would be practicing extra hard to be able to play tonight. The fact that it was gonna be late at night was the hard part. Since it's only one sung it shouldn't be too hard then.
When he got out of the bathroom, he went into his room and saw Jae reading a paper....A PAPER WITH THE SAD ASS LYRICS HE WROTE A MONTH AGO!
He ran to Jae and snatched the paper and ripped it before throwing it away.
"They were really good though, I mean pretty amateur, but good. We could have used that." Jae said with a frown.
"They were personal, not something I would share." He looked down at the shredded paper in the garbage, this wasn't something just anyone could look at. He sighed and looked over at Jae and said nothing.
Jae nodded and smiled, "Maybe you can write better lyrics and we can use it one day, something that you would be willing to share."
Dowoon agreed to this idea before getting Jae out his room. Should he write any now? No, he wasn't in the mood right now. Maybe later?
He walked downstairs to the kitchen and saw everyone eating the pancakes that mama Sungjin made for them.
"So, Jae, wanna go on a date?"
The usually loud and annoying male just scooted his chair a little further from Brian and gave him a weird look. "Uh—I don't think that's the best thing to do on our play day."
Sungjin looked at them, they were acting weird since that date night. It was either Brian flirting with Jae or Jae avoiding Brian. It shouldn't affect their play but still, it was weird. Dowoon, on the other hand, didn't think much about it and only thought about Wonpil.
Kimoon said they will be there and he wants to try his very best to play if Wonpil was in the audience. This could be their chance to see if he would join them, their not technically a full band without him.
*******
It was finally night, Dowoon was slightly nervous, this was a bar with a lot of drunkies so this was gonna be rough. But it's for the sake of money so...As they got on stage, he searched for Wonpil or Kimoon and was able to spot them in the crowd towards the back. He smiled at them and looked over at his members.
And then, they started to play.
Wonpil stared in awe at their skills. They had gotten so much better since middle school. They were in harmony, in sync. Their voices were amazing, Dowoon still didn't sing though...
But his drumming was still amazing as ever. He couldn't keep his eyes off the younger. Now, he saw nothing but beauty. Dowoon looked amazing to him, it was obvious he was attractive. Wonpil started to smile.
Kimoon looked over at Wonpil to see how he was doing. She smiled when she saw how he was clapping along to the beat. He was happy, she was glad.
It was finally over, the group got off stage and into the crowd over to where Wonpil and Kimoon was.
"Hey! How was it?" Jae asked excitedly.
"It is was great, especially that guitar solo before the ending chorus." Kimoon complimented.
Wonpil looked at Dowoon, "Your still amazing with your drumming." He said nervously.
Dowoon smiled, "Thank you, we've practiced for so long."
