Today, just like in middle school, Dowoon would speak to Wonpil. It's been a week since he last went to the shops and now he was prepared and ready to go—
"I love you, Wonpil."
"Love you too, Kimoon."
He was not prepared and ready—
"Oh! Your here quite early, we're just about to open."
Damn it.
Dowoon gave a nervous smile and laugh, "I was just walking around...heh..." this was waaaaaaay too awkward for him right now.
Wonpil gave a sigh and shook his head, "That's fine, surely you'd want to take a break if you've been walking." He smiled as he grabbed Dowoon's wrist and dragged him in, his girlfriend Kimoon following a long with them.
She was glad that her boyfriend was opening up to other people more, but she saw something more between these two. It was like there was this connection, a long lost one that was slowly recovering each moment they were together. She didn't mind this at all, actually, she was very happy. This was a possible case of long lost friends that just so happen to meet again after many years apart.
Meanwhile, Dowoon's three friends decided to start a practice session even though it would be a little awkward without a good tempo beat from the drums.
"Enough practice, I just wanna know more about the progress Brian is making with his crush. I mean, he only ever spends time with us—" Jae cut himself off with a gasp, "Could it be a distance relationship?! Who is she Brian?! Is she famous?!"
Sungjin wanted to try so hard to take his dear bassist friend out of this awkward and embarrassing situation, but he was enjoying this way too much to do so. He simply chuckled as YoungK tried to gather his words together.
"N-No! It's not...it's—it's quite close—the relationship, I mean...dogs?"
"The fuck..." Jae and Sungjin mumbled to themselves wondering if YoungK was high on something or not. They didn't quite understand what had just happened.
"I mean—"
"Just—just don't even bother." Sungjin said.
"Your right..."
Dowoon gave a small thank you as he was given his coffee. The place was still empty and he sat on a chair in front of the cashier(?)<like in bars>. While Wonpil was making the coffee, Kimoon had told Dowoon quite a bit about this place. Like how Wonpil and her owned it and how they were in desperate need for more staff.
He admits to almost asking for a job so he could be closer to Wonpil but he knew he has little to no skill in any form for this.
"You come here often right? This one's on me, again." Kimoon said, "Think about it as our second day of meeting anniversary gift, yeah?"
He nodded to her and took a sip of his coffee, it was more on the bitter side but he didn't mind. A coffee made specially by Wonpil was more than enough for him. "If it isn't any trouble, I would like to set up my friends on a date. I would like it to be privet and best be done tonight. Is there any way you can take them in by closing so they could have alone time together?"
Kimoon thought for a bit and then looked over at Wonpil who was setting up the cups. "Hey, dear, is it okay for us to stay late after closing? Dowoon plans to set up his friends on a privet date."
"Oh? Yeah, sure, that's really kind of you, Dowoon." Wonpil said, he couldn't help but feel the name being familiar to him. But when he really thought long and hard about it, nothing really came up...until he remembered something. "Hey, Dowoon, your surname doesn't happen to be Yoon Dowoon, does it?"
The said male's eyes widened in disbelief, and here he thought Wonpil had completely forgotten of their time together. "Y-yes..." he stuttered, cursis at himself for doing so.
Wonpil nodded, "I see...sorry, I used to know someone with the name and you look just like him so I kinda just assumed, but there might be plenty of Yoon Dowoon's here so..."
No...it's me, Hyung! I'm that Yoon Dowoon, don't you recognize me?! Come back to me, please, Hyung!
Was what Dowoon wanted to say, but he simply gave the smallest little nod and decided on finishing up his coffee. "Then, I'll be sure to have them here by closing time." He said before leaving.
Wonpil watch as his figure left the small shop. He really thought that his claiming to assume that the man was his friend would possibly bring Dowoon to say that he was. Maybe if he did, then Wonpil would be confident that he really was that long lost friend. But since he didn't hear any form of refusal to his claims it really must have been some mistake.
"I'm pretty sure he might be that friend of yours, the one you always speak of. When you first met here he was really surprised, you know." Kimoon said, resting her chin in her hand as she sat in front of the counter.
"Maybe, but he could have me mistaken for someone else. That friend I knew lived in a different city anyway."
"He could have moved, you never know with these types of things." She shrugged.
Sungjin sighed as the two 'English men' bickered in a language he honestly couldn't understand. Dowoon had long since came and informed them of what he had planned to do and let's just say two of the three were not so happy. Thus, the argument has arisen.
"I will not allow you to pay for me!"
Did I forget to mention it was a very stupid argument?
"Jae, I swear, you always pay for group trips just let me repay you by paying for you!"
"No!"
"Why are you arguing about not spending your money!? I'm literally letting you buy whatever the hell you want but with my money, your not spending shit!"
"Oh...your right."
"Finally—"
"Well in that case, while we're out, buy me a mansion!"
"Where the hell would I find the money for that?!"
"I don't know you said you were paying!"
"For the food, pabo!"
"Don't go all Korean all of a sudden in me, puta!"
"Don't think I don't know what that means, pendejo!"
"Don't go all Spanish on me, puta is the only word I know!"
"Yeah? Well then I must have been the one born in Argentina instead!"
"The fuck is going on in here?" Dowoon asked Sungjin as he came out the bathroom.
"Jaehyungparkian was arguing who was gonna pay for the food then they started fighting about what language they speak and now their arguing about who was actually born in Argentina."
"...they do know I'm the one paying, right? And also, who the hell fights about what language they speak?"
"Only our friends apparently."
