Renato welcomed summer as a new person. On the first morning of his and Safiye's break, he laid awake staring at her messy hair, and the bright color of her skin as the sun caressed her. As he meditated and looked at the situation from another perspective, he found the solution to his problems. He concluded not to care if Billy watched them over the distance, imagining he could be like any other person on the streets that turns to observe them. Billy would never dare to approach Safiye if she was in a public place, and with someone by her side, and even if something happened, Renato knew how to defend himself and Safiye, and he made the solemn promise to kill Billy before he could touch Safiye. The conclusion was enough to take away the stress, and his promise was enough to quiet down the dirty voice of his consciousness.

Safiye woke up with a kiss from Renato and instead of opening her eyes, a smile spread across her lips. With his caresses, he slowly moved the sheet away and took her to the shower with him, where they gently removed each other's underwear and drowned in passion. She stopped dressing and walked to him to finish buttoning up his shirt like a wife would do, before doing the last button she kissed his chest and he could almost feel how she transferred her love directly to his heart. Before she walked away, he held her arm and kissed her forehead and smiled at her. Every kiss, every touch, every smile, was genuine and innocent since Renato had forgotten how to pretend in front of Safiye.

They stepped out of the house, and Renato opened the door of his car to Safiye, who had forgotten how to feel fear when all she could feel was love. As he drove, he took every red light as an opportunity to look at Safiye's beauty as she naturally smiled like him. They had lunch together at an elegant restaurant before walking around a nearby park. They rested under the shadow of a tree, with her head resting over his lap as he caressed her hair. She felt so at peace, that her eyes slowly closed and lost herself in her dreams, where she also found Renato embracing her under the roof of their home. He woke her up after a while and walked with her to a cafe, where they shared a cup of coffee. He bought her flowers that upon the arrival at their home, were forgotten over the table after dinner, when Safiye pulled Renato by the arm and guided him to their room. For the first time, he allowed her to be the only one in charge, and permitted all the things she ever wanted to do to him. He discovered the great ability she possessed to please him, because whenever she touched him she did it with the delicacy of love.

She laid over his chest as he drew abstract figures with his fingers on her back, both still wearing the gentle smiles from the morning. Safiye raised her head and turned to look at him causing his smile to widen, "What?" He chuckled, "I wish every day of our lives to be like this one" She said, "Me too" He said, and kissed her goodnight. The next morning, they woke up on the same day, and the whole month became that single day, making their wish true for a while.
