Renato breathed heavily, and it was in his dreams he traveled to a world only death can go. He was absorbed by the fabric force of a wind that threw him over to the past. In the middle of the cursed forest, he lacked air, after running in circles in search of help. His ice hands went to his forehead and over his new long hair. Feeling a body different from his, he looked down and stared at the body that belonged to a girl. But the panic of being followed overcame every question he had on his mind, and a foreign instinct made him run. Even with the feeling of ember down his throat, and the jumping motion of his weight impacting his knees, he kept running, because he didn't know what he was running from, but he knew his life depended on it.
A tree raised its root causing Renato to trip and break his knee, and even then he used his arms to drag his body over dead leaves and branches that scratched the skin on his arms. He prevented himself from crying, because it only caused him more pain, with tears of blood escaping from his eyes, feeling like needles traveling down his cheek. He raised from the ground and jumped in one foot, in an attempt to relieve some of the pain. After a few seconds, he spotted the back of a man and desperately thanked God as he approached the person.
Renato spoke with the voice of a broken woman and pleaded for help from the person. The man looked over his shoulder and stared at Renato with his red eyes. A new wave of fear struck him when he saw his body worn by a demon, with the only character carried over from the hellish creature to the body that it once belonged to Renato, was the gleaming red eyes. "Please" Was all Renato could say before the figure jumped over him and made him live through the pain he once caused the poor girl he was trapped in. His screams filled the night, and with every tear, the suffering was taken to another level no human has ever experienced since it goes beyond what anybody on earth could feel. The cords on his throat broke and blood came out of his mouth. Only when the demon was over did Renato's heart stop beating to wake up to the next level.
He knew he was running from the demon. He went through abandoned buildings crying for help under the rain. The slippery pavement made him fall to the ground and hit the edge with his mouth. Raising his head, he looked at a forming puddle as if it was a mirror, and stared at his newly green eyes, and long brown hair. The blood from his teeth tinted the puddle red, and the image of the woman was distorted with the falling of a tooth. He tried to stand up to keep running but before he could force himself to rise from the ground, a hand grabbed him by the hair and made the effort for him.
The demon pulled him by the hair, with Renato's new small feet tangling making his trip. But the creature ignored it and kept dragging Renato by the hair, making it impossible for him to hold back the tears of blood, even if it only caused him more pain. The beast pressed him against the brick wall and the droplets of water turned to shattered crystal, cutting through Renato's skin but not through one of the demons, allowing the beast to make Renato suffer what his second victim had to suffer at his hands. Not even when the demon took out a knife and stabbed Renato's heart did he feel relief. The last seconds of life he had; he was aware of every source of pain since his body couldn't lose consciousness. He could feel waves of electricity going from his teeth across the nerves in his face, the previous cut done by the rain of shattered crystal felt like recently done, and the liquid left by the demon felt like a consuming fire that burned him from inside out.
After blinking Renato was thrown over a bed in a room very familiar to him. His heart made of glass broke and the pieces cut through his organs as they traveled across his blood. The demon ripped the cloth off him and scratched with its nails over his skin. The beast balanced over, and in a split second, he caught his reflection over the red eyes of the beast and saw the face of the girl that taught him how to love. The demon bit over Renato's neck, chopping pieces off and eating them, leaving his lips last. The demon traveled down and kept eating from his breast to the interior of his leg, before concluding to rip Renato's momentary innocence and leaving once again the burning liquid. Unable to stand, Renato, looked at the demon leaving. The beast went for a knife and returned to stab Renato in the empty void on his chest.
