Chapter 1: My Class Trial, Our Class Trial

After Monokuma and the cubs left, it seems like everyone's Monopad began to rang. Curiously, we pulled it out to check what it was. It was the rules of the academy...

1: Students must live at the Ultimate Academy for the remainder of their foreseeable future

2: Once a murder takes place, all surviving students must participate in a class trial

3: If they blackened is exposed during the class trial, they alone will be executed.

4: if the blackened is not exposed all remaining students besides the blackened will be executed.

5: if the blackened survives the class trial they will graduate and re-enter the outside world.
6: The killing game and class trials will go on until only two surviving students remain.

7: Nighttime is 10pm to 8am. The dining hall and gym are off limit during those times.

8: Violence towards Monokuma, the headmaster, is strictly prohibited.

9: Monokuma will never directly commit a murder.
10: Your Monopads are very important items. Please do not damage them.

11: A body discovery announcement will play every time a body is discovered by 3 or more students.

12: With minimal restrictions, you're free to explore the campus at your discretion.

13: Students who violate these rules will be immediately exterminated by the Exisals.

Everyone stayed in the gym to read the rules, no one saying a thing whilst they read. 5 or so minutes later Ryoma spoke up "The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles School Regulations... So these are the rules..." "I do not understand why someone.. would force us to do this?" Kirumi said as she put a finger to her lip in thought. "Butttt the rules are pretty cut and dry. This game doesn't seem like it'll be boring." Kokichi said with a smile on his face, his arms behind his head in a relaxed positon. Tenko got into a offensive position. "That's not the problem!" Tenko yelled. Korekiyo sighed "Please lower your voice.... its ruining the atmosphere." "That doesn't seem like it's a problem either." Asuka said firmly, not sure how exactly to react to the whole situation. Angie waved her hand above her head as she started speaking "Hey, hey! What does this sixth regulation mean?" Some turned their Monopads back on to read the rule again. Angie read out the rule. "'The killing game and class trials will go till only two students remain' "Angie finished.

"Only two surviving students? What would be the reason for that?" Angie asked as Shuichi thinks about it. "Perhaps it's because you couldn't do a trial with just two people...?" Shuichi said as Milina huffed. "Duh, if there's only 2 students, then you wouldn't even need to do a class trial!" The brunette said as all of the students in the gym nodded. "Nyahahaha, I see, I see, you're so smart!" Angie said, it seems like she's pointing to both Shuichi and Milina, but guess it's mostly Shuichi. "Q-Quit screwing around... Killing game... School Regulations..." Kaito muttered as he drags all of the student's attention to him. "To hell with all that crap! Who'd go along with something like that?!" Kaito shouted, and ready to smash the device, but Asuka decided to chimes in. "Do you want to get killed by those Exisals? It already said in here that you can't break the Monopad!" The blonde said as it seems like it calmed the astronaut down a bit... and he stopped raising the pad.

"What's the point of following all those rules anyway, I won't play by that bears rules." Kaito said as he put the Monopad back in his pockets. "This isn't about 'playing' the game. It's too dangerous to disobey him now." Rantaro said with his hands rested on his hips. Miu made a 'Tch' sound before talking "Forget about him! Just means one less dumbass for the world to deal with" Miu said, referring to Kaito. "Hey! Who you callin' a dumbass!" He yelled back at Miu. Before anything else could be said Kaede shouted "Hey!! QUIT FIGHTING ALREADY!!!!" Everyone turned to look at Kaede "We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves. We *need* to work together. "Kaede sighed, looking frustrated. "Honestly I'd probably sound more inspiring if I played a song than gave a speech.. Chopin's 'Military Polonaise' would definitely unit us right now!"
