Chapter 1: Investigation

"That's a mess, haha..." Milina chuckled as Asuka only looked at where the bear left in disgust. "So, should we start investigating now?" The brunette asked again and Asuka nodded. "Ok, but anyway, the others doesn't know that we know Kaede and Shuichi's plan... would that be alright?" Asuka asked as she puts her hand on the chin. "Girl, you forgot my talent already? With some lies, we'll be out of suspicion!" Milina smiled as Asuka shook her head. "I think that we have to tell the truth in order for them to believe in us..." The blonde said as Milina just sighs. "Alright, fine, geez, do it your way." "Oh, Asuka, Milina, can we ask you something?" Shuichi and Kaede walked over to the pair, and Milina nodded. "Yeah, sure! What is it?" "Well, while we were on our lookout room, we saw 9 of you... walking downstairs, can we ask you what happened, and is anything felt out of place?" Kaede asked as Milina thinks about it. "Hmm, let's see, there's 9 of us, me, Asuka-chan, Angie, Himiko, Gonta, Kaito, Maki, Tenko, and of course, Rantaro!" Milina finished counting with a smile. "Well, we all moved to the Game room to start Kaito's strategy meeting anyway."

"Kaito's meeting, huh... did something happened?" Kaede asked as Asuka nods. "Well, yeah, Gonta suddenly locked himself inside the A/V room, and Rantaro went out to go to the bathroom... but I guess he lied about it..." Asuka explains as she puts a hand on her chin. "Well, then Asuka-chan said that Rantaro went out for too long, so I decided to follow her and Kaito! And Tenko wanted to join too!" Milina said with a smile. Suddenly, Monokuma jumped in again, startle everyone. "What the fuck do you want now?!!" Miu shouted as Asuka just glared at it. "Jeez, calm down, I'm only here to deliver these Monokuma files! It's important for class trials, y'know?" Monokuma said as he handed out a Monopad-looking device. "Lemme see!" Milina cheered as she made her way to the pad, and got it out of its pawl. "The girl scrolled through the contents, there's that, time of death, reason of death and such. "Ooohh, looks cool!" Milina cheers as Kaede and Shuichi took a look at it too. "Well... it looks like we can trust this... thing, since it seems to be almost true..." Shuichi said as Milina nodded.

"Yeah, I think so too! Well, let's not waste time, alright? You two already hear it all from us, right?" Milina asked as Kaede nods. "Yeah, thank you for those information." Kaede said as she and Shuichi continued to investigate something else. "Hmm, I suggest we investigate... that! First!" Milina said as she pointed to the stacked books. "Eh...? Why?" Asuka asked as Milina just giggled. "Don't you think it's the most suspicious? Like, how can those books be so organized? We both know that Kaede organized it, but... I still have my doubts." Milina said as her face went darkened. "Doubts, huh, fine, you can investigate that..." Asuka sighs as Milina took the ladder, and climbed on the top. "Anything suspicious?" Asuka asked as Milina lifted herself up to see everything. "Well... the setting is kinda weird... but I guess it's fine..." Milina said as she turns to the vent, and saw the gate of it has been opened. "So, have you cleared your doubts yet?" Asuka asked as Milina just climbs down the ladder. "I guess..." Milina muttered as she puts her hand on the chin. 'The settings are clearly weird! Then why can't I figure out what is wrong?!' Milina sighed as she decided to think about it later and move on with the investigation.

Asuka knelt down near the body, she took a deep breath before she started to locate where exactly the wound was. "The gash is more near the top of his head rather than the back of his head. So they would either been taller than whacked him or he was hit from above. "Asuka muttered "He was also attacked with a shot put ball.... I think we should go see Gonta, there's some evidence pointing to him right now." Milina said as she climbed down the latter. The girls made their way to the game room where they saw Gonta headed the last time they saw him. They could hear yelling from the AV room from Kaito and what sounded like a confused scared Gonta replying. They walked into the room and saw Kaito pointing his finger at Gonta and Himiko in the corner, glaring at bug boy. "So why did you lock yourself up in here Gonta? Do you realize how many things point to you right now?!" Kaito yelled . Gonta was shaking his head as he was trying to explain." No, no. Gonta was in here to watch movie on bugs! To help Gonta fight Monokuma later!"
