"What an idiot..." Asuka sighed, and got back to her long-known brunette. "So, let's check the Monokuma files first!~" Milina said, and begin to scroll through the pages. "Huh... she died at 2 am?" Asuka asked. " And was stabbed in the back of the neck with a another wound on her forehead..." Asuka added before looking back to the white haired girls body. "But if she died at 2 am then practically no one has an alibi cause we were all supposed to be sleeping at that time. " Korekiyo started to speak, mainly with Kiibo and Himiko but a few others listened in. He mentioned how the culprit could likely be a student council member as that's whom Angie trusted. Himiko was looking to the ground, more sad and filled with emotion than they've ever seen her before. " I can't... I can't investigate Angie's body..." Himiko said slowly, sounding like she was on the brink of tears. Tenko automatically got worried, wanting to do anything to make her friend feel better. " Himiko? We need to, so we can get through the trail-" "What's the point...." "W-What?!" "There's no point, everything's just sadness and suffering...what a pain..." "Why don't you just revive Angie with your magic!?" Miu yelled, pointing to the girl.
Both Milina and Asuka were deeply into the conversation, watching it unfold. "Do you really need to continue with such taunts? Of course that's not possible-" Kiibo started, scolding the inventor for getting mad at the magication. However he was cut of by the long haired boy who had started the whole conversation. " What if we could revive the dead?" Korekiyo said in an ominous tone. " Excuse me?!" Kiibo quickly said back in a shocked tone, pulling away from the boy. " Well, of course resurrecting her is impossible, but I know a way we can speak with Angie. We can summon her spirit with a séance called The Caged Child." "Séance...? Haven't we done enough with all the meddling with the dead shit? I think we should leave it alone." Asuka cut in, crossing her arms. "No, let's just hear what he has to say." Milina replied, interested in the story he was about to spell out.
"Oh, I'm serious... This is for our investigation." The male said as Milina nodded. "So we can speak to her? That's awesome! Then she'd tell us whoever killed her! Mission accomplished!" "Yes, indeed that's whatever I want to do." Korekiyo stated. "First, a resurrection ritual and now a séance? Are you messing with us?" Kokichi smirked. "Kehehe... I would appreciate it if you didn't compare it to Monokuma's foolishness... Séances are genuine occurrences. They are written in literature the world over. In fact, I myself have participated in séances a great many times..." The anthropologist explained. "M-Many times?" Gonta panicked. "On top of that, we have here a rare chance to perform the legendary séance, The Caged Child. It would be foolish to not take advantage of this, yes?" "Oh! If you're doing that then I definitely wanna join!" The brunette cheered as Asuka looked at her with a 'seriously' face. "N-No matter how you put it, now's not the time for something-" But Tsumugi never got to finish her words.
"Oh? I suspect the only way to confirm your earlier theory is by preforming the séance, yes?" Korekiyo cutting in, using the girls words against her to make the task more desirable. "M-My theory?" "The possibility of the culprit being the resurrected transfer student... It is not wise to go into the class trial with such outlandish theories in one's head. So to prove such a thing impossible, I think it best we consult Angie herself." He offered, knowing that what he was saying was very odd but that those desperate would latch on with ease. "Th-That logic is peculiar, to say the least!" Kiibo shot back, looking very uncomfortable. "Holding a séance to find out the ritual.... So we're going to fight the occult with the occult. Well' we can't worry about this forever, so we might as well as go with the easiest solution. Okay, I'll help out! I was getting bored of investigating anyway!" Kokichi cheered, looking excited. "I'll help too..." Himiko quietly agreed to which Tenko was shocked by.
"Huh?! You too, Himiko?!" "If I can talk to Angie one more time... I'll do anything. A séance or whatever is takes... I'll do it." "I-I'll help out as well! I can't leave Himiko alone!" Tenko said, masking her fear with confidence, very badly though. "So now we have four participants. Kokichi, Himiko and myself... However, the Caged Child requires five people. We're one short..." Korekiyo explained as he looked expectantly at the remaining people in the room who haven't already agreed to help. "That's easy! Milina will help!" Kokichi said loudly, bouncing over to the girl and clinging onto her arm. "Umm alright I guess. This does sound really interesting." Milina agreed, giving the supreme leader who was attached to her arm a soft smile. "If you don't mind, may I overview this process. I'd be lying if I said I was curious in this experiment." Kiibo stated. Korekiyo nodded his head, pleased with the eagerness of the students for the séance. "That is quite alright, however you must leave when we are conducting the séance. But it will be great help for you to come as we need to move items from my room into where ever we perform this séance... I sub just one of the three rooms below this floor. For this séance to work it needs to be dark and not interrupted so it would be best to use those rooms. However there is three so which one shall we use?" Korekiyo asked.
