Warning: almost smut but like.. not really?
I get home from school, aggravated that Ben had the audacity to speak to me, and because we had a quiz that I epically failed. Over all I'm in a really shitty mood. All I want is my boy.
"Harrison?" I call, looking in the living room. Not there.
This is the problem with living in a mansion. If I'm not with my boyfriend it's close to impossible to find him. There's a million different rooms he could be in.
As I pass Toms office I peek in, seeing he's busy working.
"Yes Aria?" He asks, not looking up from his laptop.
"Where is Haz?" I ask.
"With the new guys in a meeting" he says and I nod.
To the conference room it is. I don't normally barge in, but today is different. Today I'm desperate for attention.
I open the door, and walk in. Every set of eyes divert to me, and I instantly regret my choice of coming in here. A lot of them are young, but there's also some older men that stare me down uncomfortably.
"Sorry" I whisper, turning to leave.
"No darling, it's alright" Haz smiles softly. He extends his hand to me, inviting me in.
I shut the door behind me, walking over to him. He pulls me down into his lap, wrapping his arms around my front as he continues to talk.
"So as you know, only three of you will actually be hands on, the rest of you will be our internet and on field workers" Haz says.
As he continues to talk I feel a dirty mans eyes on me, he's definitely older, in his thirties at least.
I uncomfortably shift in Harrisons lap, hiding my face into his chest and he takes notice, not just of me but of the man causing my discomfort. I immediately feel him tense beneath me, and I know what's about to happen.
"Mr. Hall if you keep staring at my girlfriend like a piece of meat I will gladly put a bullet though your fucking head" He says in a calm tone.
The man quickly averts his eyes, his voice shaking as he speaks.
"Sorry boss. Won't happen again."
"Better fuckin not. As for the rest of you, this is Aria. She's not only my girlfriend, but she is Holland's little sister. You will treat her with nothing but kindness and respect. You will protect her and you will put her needs first. Always. Understood?" Haz says.
They all mutter understood and I snuggle into Haz, feeling his warmth sooth me. I love when he gets protective and bossy.
"Dismissed" he says and the men are quick to scurry out of the room.
I lift my head, looking into his blue eyes.
"What's wrong my love?" He asks.
"Rough day" I shrug.
"Hmm.." he hums, pressing a kiss to my lips. "Let me fix it."
His lips trail down my jawline, and scatter kisses down my neck. I smile at the sensation, instantly feeling better. He grips his hands on my hips, lifting me up so I'm sitting on the table in front of him.
"Why don't you spread those legs for me and I'll make you forget all about your bad day."

It's late, probably too late for me to be awake considering I have class in the morning. I can't sleep, or more so I don't want to. I can't dream those dreams again.
Scrolling through my phone, someone walks into the room and it makes me jump. Didn't expect someone to be coming into the living room at midnight.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Daniel says as he walks in.
"What are you doing up?" I ask.
"Could ask you the same thing" he laughs, grabbing a water bottle from the fridge in the attached kitchen.
"I dream too much. Your turn." I say.
"Miss my family." He says.
"Didn't choose this life?" I ask.
"No.." he says. "My dad. He use to work with Mr. Holland's father. So.. here I am."
I frown, I hate that people are forced into this..
"Haz went through the same thing. He didn't really want to be here either" I shake my head.
"Really?" He asks.
"Yeah. Neither did I. You start to realize over time that it's more than what it looks like. We really are a family here. You'll start to feel it soon." I say.
"Yeah.." he nods.
"By the way, you can call people by their first name here." I tell him.
"Was honestly scared to" he lets out a small laugh.
"You've got me on your side. You'll be fine" I smile.
"Thanks.. night Aria." He says.
"Goodnight" I say and he leaves the living room.
Poor kid.. I know exactly how he feels. The first few weeks here are uncomfortable. You don't fit in, everyone's terrifying, you have no clue what's going on. Hell, I still have no clue what's going on.
The best I can do is at least help the new kids feel more comfortable.
"Come to bed darlin" I hear and look up to see Haz standing in the entry way, wearing only his boxers.
"I'm almost done with my tea" I say. "Be down in a bit."
He frowns, walking over to me. He sits down next to me on the couch, looking out the oversized window to the barely lit backyard.
"Harry told me he loves having a sister the other day" he says.
"Really?" I smile widely.
"Yeah" he nods.
His hand rests over mine, thumb running over my knuckles. A sigh leaves his lips as he looks back up to me.
"I need you to be okay. How do I fix it?" He asks.
"Haz, some things take time. Seeing my mother killed is one of them." I say.
"I just hate seeing you so.. broken up." He says. "I wish I could fix it."
"Haz you've been wonderful" I praise him, grabbing his face gently between my hands. "You are getting me through this with grace. I'd be a mess without you."
I finish my tea, and walk over to the kitchen, putting my cup in the sink. Let's see if I can get one night without intrusive dreams. Just one decent night..
