• Mayday Parade - Bruised and Scared •
"A rapid bolt will rend the clouds apart, and every single white be scared by wounds. I tell you this . I want it all to hurt. -Dante Alighieri

It's annoying how until now my parents were able to deflect all my question about the crash.
James, like me, is being kept in the dark, which means he doesn't know anything.
Trust me, I interrogated him early in the morning. I might or might not have ambushed him when he was coming out of his bedroom. He's as clueless as a fish right about to get caught.
The only difference between the two of us is that I'm asking questions while he just let the whole incident pass like there wasn't anything fishy about it.
No pun intended.Fortunate for my parents. For me? Not so much.
Not to worry, though. If I'm good at anything is at getting my way and finding out whatever I want to know.Today I woke early enough to have time to enjoy my breakfast. I'm think I'm going to make a strawberry milkshake. Anything to break my routine of grabbing an apple and hurrying out the door.
I lazily get dressed in a white lace dress and a dark blue blazer and put on my knee high boots.
I'm going down the stairs when I catch sight of Ethan and James hanging around in the front hall.
God dammit! Not again!
Why can't I have a peacefully morning for once?
Well... Here goes nothing.I stand in the last step looking down at Ethan "What a surprise." I say sarcastically "You're back."
"Good morning to you too, sunshine." He smirks "You know me, can't stay way. I guess you can call me masochistic. Every time you open up your mouth it's like you're stabbing a knife into me."
"Then why do you insist on continuing to crawl back into my house? Why can't you wait outside for James like a good dogie? Are you that desperate to be in my presence?" I purse my lips with dislike.
He drops his smirk and glares at me "Please! Don't flatter yourself. Every time I look at you I have to control my gag reflex."
"Then why do you keep looking?" I smile victoriously.
Ethan was probably going to insult me when James cuts in "I don't think he has much choice in the matter, sis. We do live together." The look he's giving me tells me to stop harassing his friend.
Do I go have breakfast and pass the opportunity to tease and irritate Ethan or do I keep going and deal with my brother later.
I'm sure James will forgive me.I laugh "Come on brother, we're just playing around. It's not my fault he gets the urge to vomit, I mean if he showered maybe he wouldn't." Ethan is starting to get red with anger. That was quick. I hadn't even started yet. "No wonder this house gets infested with flys after he's been around." I smirk.
"I try my best to keep you away" Ethan snaps "But you seem to always be around."
"In case you haven't noticed, you're the one standing in my home, contaminating my air." I crinkle my nose and look at him with mock disgust.
"You'll never stop giving your best to annoy me, will you? You're like the flys that I apparently attract. Always popping back up."
"You wish." I say amused "And if we're playing farm I cal only assume that you're the pig. It suits you."
"Forget the fly, you resemble a cow more, now that I think about it." He crosses his arms and smiles like he's won.
Oh, no you don't! The little pig thinks too high of himself. The world is lucky that I crush a little more of his ego almost every morning.
