"y/n?" you heard a voice say, at the door, it belonged to Peter.
Now, the thing is, that Peter did just lose his mentor and losing his mentor hurt. Seeing you like this only made it worse, but he was determined to be strong for you, to give you a shoulder to cry on, a stone to lean on when you weren't strong enough to stand on your own.
He gently opened the bedroom, he frowned when his eyes landed at you, sitting at your window bench looking out of the window. Sadness clouded your features, glossy eyes, rosy cheeks, he hated to see you like this.
"Hey" he said quietly "Uhm, Happy are going to get some cheeseburgers for Morgan, he wondered if you would like some to?" asked Peter.
"I'm not hungry".
"y/n, you haven't eaten since you came home" Peter said, sitting on a chair that he placed next to her. "When was the last time you even had a real meal? Or the last time when you slept?" he said.
"I cannot sleep" you said.
"Nightmares?" he asked you and you just gave him a simply nod in response.
Peter sighed "I'm going to sleep with you here tonight? Alright? That way, you might feel safe and perhaps you maybe won't have any nightmares".
You finally took a look at him.
"Shouldn't you go and find your girlfriend?" she asked, with fluttered eyes. I just glared at her in confusion.
"The only girl for me, is right here in front of me"
"It didn't sound like that like 6 years ago, you know when you dumped me for some other whore".
That's right, I almost forgot that i did break up with y/n.
