Palak was psyched. She was going to go on a road trip from her home in Sacramento all the way to Los Angeles on the last day of senior year with 2 of her best friends. Their names were Violet Tsukishima and July Jung.

Palak was a South Indian girl with big brown doe eyes. She liked to wear a skater-girl style, consisting of cargo pants and big sweaters. She was 5'6", in the middle of the two friends. She was the mom friend of the group, always taking care of everyone. She liked to describe herself as a hopeless romantic, which everyone gave her shit for. She had shoulder length, curly hair and a diamond shaped face, and her features were beautiful and prominent. Her friend, July, often helped take spontaneous photo shoots.

July was a Korean girl that had a cute, innocent face, all big eyes and long dark lashes, but a flirtatious personality. She winged the soft girl style, and liked to say she had the best fashion sense. Her hair was straight and a dark brown, with highlights running through it. Her body was tan and toned from years of soccer and archery. She was tall too, with long legs that resulted in her height being about 5'7". She was a closet nerd and read webtoons in her spare time. She also was a prodigy at photography and always took gorgeous shots of her and her friends.

Violet was a Japanese, dominant bisexual, and she isn't afraid of hiding her sexuality. She wore a face that looked intimidating to outsiders and had long, wavy black hair decorated with blue highlights. She had a height of 5'5", but knew how to throw a punch. And a kick. And a whole lot of martial arts. She excelled at taekwondo, karate, and others. Some people claimed that she was a delinquent, due to her idgaf manner, but she didn't give a damn to the rumors. She could also cuss like there was no tomorrow, clearly. She loved dark humor, and searched the web for memes at 3 A.M.

The three of them had always been close, and were well-known amongst their peers. And now they were relaxing before their final year of high school.

Palak jumped into her new car, courtesy of her working her ass off to buy it for her 17th birthday. She started up the engine, and drove toward July and Violet's neighborhood, since they were neighbors.

Palak pulled into July's house's driveway to pick her up, and spotted July's older brother, Joon Jung, looking out the door. He was a well known student in their grade. Everyone knew him as "the popular kid," and it wasn't very hard to see why. He was absolutely gorgeous. He was Korean, like July, his hair wavy. He had a toned body and toned arms, almost like a model, rather, an angel. Oh, and of course, he's off limits, since he's July's brother. She quickly lowered her gaze as July bounded out her front door. July quickly hugged her twin and was about to run off, when he grabbed her and said something. Palak couldn't tell what he was saying, but July frowned for a second and then shrugged. Palak thought she saw her say, "I'll ask."

Palak rolled her window down as July ran to her. "What'd he want?"

"Oh, he was wondering if he could tag along. His friends are going for their senior trip, but the car he was going to go on broke down. I know, terrible timing."

"Oh.. um.. come with us?"

"Yeah! Him and two of his friends. C'mon, he really won't be a bother! Plus, Ethan's coming.."

Palak and July exchanged sly smiles, which was usually Violet's signature move. It was obvious Ethan had a huge crush on Violet. After Violet had once stepped in when Ethan was being bullied, he started following her around like a lost puppy ever since (even though Violet had claimed that she was in a bad mood and was looking for a fight). If they went on a road trip together, surely they would connect, and maybe something will spark.

"Fine," Palak said. "Just make sure they sit in the back. You know how Violet's obsessed with the shotgun."

"Bet she's gonna put dibs on it," July challenged. Palak smirked. Secretly, she was giddy that more people were coming with them. More was definitely better.

Especially when the more had Joon Jung.
