Thankfully, Palak's car had 6 seats. Palak had bought the car with her savings from Instagram modeling, and worked daily at her family boba chain store. Since Violet was still packing, July and Joon started putting their bags into the trunk, while Palak stood in the back admiring the view.

Honestly, Joon was cute. Really cute. His arms were perfectly muscular, looking as if they were chiseled out of marble, clearly from years of working out. He was fine with a capital F.

"HEY, WHATCHA LOOKING AT?" Violet screeched out of nowhere. She then leaned closer to Palak's ear and whispered. "Could it be...your little Romeo?"

Palak jumped up nearly a foot. "Hey, where'd you come from? I thought you were coming in.." she checked her watch, "30 fucking minutes!"

"Yeah, well, if you weren't checking Joon out, you would've seen my text," Violet said with a smirk on her face. Palak blushed as both siblings turned around, arching their eyebrows identically. July did it jokingly and Joon's was just curious. Palak saw a slight smile on his lips. Violet then walked up to July and slapped her ass. "Is my little Juul pod not even gonna say hi to me?"

July scrunched up her face. "Shut up! Don't call me Juul pod, you weirdo."

Violet stuck her tongue out, "No you, cutie."

Joon was still looking at Palak, a thoughtful expression on his face.

Trying to move on, Palak asked, "When are Jacob and Ethan coming?"

Violet lifted her eyebrows. "Ethan's coming?"

July grinned, staring intensely into Violet's soul. "Mhm. That won't be a problem, right?"

Violet dismissively waved her hand, looking bored. "Nah."

Joon broke in. "Well, Jacob will come when he wants to come, and Ethan said about now."

Just as the words left his perfect lips, Ethan walked up to the curb. He avoided Violet's gaze, but still blushed intensely, looking like a tomato.

"Um, you good bro? You look a little sick," Violet stepped closer and put a hand on his forehead, confused. This made him blush even harder than Palak knew was possible.

"I'm fine!" he exclaimed, pulling away from her.

Meanwhile, July, Joon, and Palak were silently shaking with laughter. Suddenly, July felt two warm hands blocking her view. "Guess who~?" a teasing voice sang, tinged with a British accent.

She pushed Jacob away, and rolled her eyes, before kneeing him in the balls. He sank to his knees, cringing in pain. "OI! I was just playing!

"NUT SHOT!" Violet cheered, acting as if a point was scored. "The crowd goes wild! AHH~" Everyone around just stared at her, wide eyed, before Ethan started cheering with her. The two started to snicker together. Thankfully, Ethan had gotten out of his I'm-in-love-with-Violet phase.

July bit her lip, trying not to smile, before holding her hand out to pull him up. Instead, Jacob grabbed it and pulled her down against him. They stared at each other for a second, not at all joking before she giggled, and rolled off of him. "Come on, let's go."

Palak sighed as they walked toward the car together. "They're so cute together, but so deep in the friend zone, it hurts my tiny heart." Joon clearly heard her and became defensive.

"Stop groping my sister, you little shit," Joon said, nudging Jacob's side with his foot.

"Relax, we're just playing. It's what best friends do," said Jacob, with a smile.

Palak and Violet looked at each other and then started a chorus of mhm's, sure's, uh-huh's, and totally's. July merely rolled her eyes again before hopping into the car.

Violet screamed, "I CALL SHOTGUN!"

July poked her head out and held out her hand toward Palak. "Pay up, babe."

Palak slapped a 20 on her hand, scowling, before climbing into the driver's seat. Violet excitedly clambered into the shotgun, as Ethan pouted a little and slumped down in the seat behind her.

"Simp," Jacob coughed. July merely smirked next to him. Joon frowned at them sitting in the back row, all by themselves, and then wiggled between them.

"I'm watching you fuckers," said Joon, "That's okay, right JJ?"

"Of course, sure. Sure..." she dragged out each word, glaring at him. Joon smiled at her innocently, batting his lashes. Jacob glanced at July for a second, and then purposely scooted a little more to the left, making it more uncomfortable and tight.

"Hm.. a bit of a tight fit, isn't it? Oh! I think the seat next to Ethan is free." Jacob said in a sarcastic voice.

July caught on, pushing on the other side. They closed in so much that Joon was practically on each thigh. Then with a giggle, July shoved him off the seat and then slid back to her original seat and propped her legs on Jacob's lap so there wasn't any space. Joon glowered at the two of them before sitting in the seat next to Ethan.

Palak called, "Everyone all set?"

Violet hooted, "Step on the gas, girl." And they were off to Los Angeles.
