The Tour Bus

It only took a few minutes of waiting until the bus finally arrived. It was a red, double decker bus just like in videos on YouTube. They all chose to sit on the top, to sightsee all the views from up in the air. There were 4 seats in each row of the bus, seperated in the middle by a walkway. Violet and Ethan sat in the front left of the bus, which earned smirks from the others. Then, July and Jacob decided to sit across from them, in the front right. Palak and Joon sat behind July and Jacob, in the second row. Palak was slightly upset about this, to which Joon let her sit by the window.

"But you'll be missing out on the view. It bothers me," Palak replied.

Jacob turned around and stared at her, saying, "If you two are going to be so gross, just sit in the back of the bus." Palak and Joon looked at each other and showed two different reactions. Palak shook her head no, while Joon nodded yes. Joon looked back at her, pretending to be hurt.

She laughed and said, "Fine, we can sit there if you really want to."

While they got up and walked to the back, Violet yelled, "Have fun lovebirds!" To that, Palak turned around and glared at Violet, in an annoyed manner. Palak and Joon sat down, and the bus started to move to begin their trip around the city.

As the bus started to move, the tour guide shouted out landmarks as the bus passed them. At the back of the bus, Joon and Palak were turned around, looking at the sights through the back window. Palak felt a cold breeze from the fast moving bus and started to shiver in her top. To this, Joon took off his hoodie and put it around her shoulder. When he saw her smile and put it on, all he could think was- 'she looks so pretty in my hoodie'. Palak smiled, but all she could think of was how nice he was to her. Sure, he teases me, but all he's done so far has been nice to me. He's not like that with anyone else from what I know. She smiled again and blushed.

Jacob had never seen July so happy. She was snapping pictures with her Nikon camera and excitedly describing each landmark. She had even taken some pictures of him, which had turned out pretty great.

"Do you want me to take pictures of you?" he asked.

She beamed at him. "Yeah, thanks!"

She posed with her sunglasses on, looking gorgeous. After he took them, he showed them to her and she loved them. Discreetly, while July wasn't looking, he took a picture on his phone, where she was laughing and her hair was wild in the wind, with a graffiti-full wall in the background, and put it as his home screen.

While the bus continued traveling, Violet could feel that Ethan was excited to tour around the city. Literally, Violet felt Ethan lean closer to her to look closer at things that were as interesting as the Hollywood sign to everyday stores and cafes. Violet didn't stop him though. He looked like the adorable puppy he always looked liked when he wasn't blushing. His smile was radiant like when Violet complimented him the other night. She smiled at the sight of him, and when Ethan finally noticed, he backed away, blushing. He was about to apologize when Violet interrupted him with an adorable laugh. His heart skipped a beat and he didn't know what to do until Violet snapped him back to reality to look at the graffiti on the passing walls. The two enjoyed the rest of the tour and got at least a little bit closer by the experience.

Nearing the end of the tour, Palak felt a heavy weight on her left shoulder and saw Joon's head resting on her. She laid her head on his and smiled. This time, however, because she finally realized that she liked Joon Jung.

Finally, the tour ended and the bus dropped them off at the hotel. Palak woke Joon up but let him lean on her as they walked.

July had started eying the two before Palak said, "Don't ask."
