Palak woke up at 9 am, and found herself hugging Joon tightly and staring into his eyes. She panicked and got up, rushing to the bathroom to get ready for the day. After she finished brushing and taking a shower, she went out of the bathroom and saw Joon still passed out on the bed. She walked over and shook him in an effort to get him up.
"5 more minutes eomma," Joon groaned.
She laughed, and said, "We have to go on the tour today, and you and I are the only mature people of our friend groups. We have to go wake them up before they spend the rest of their lives on their beds."
"You do it," Joon groaned, "Why do I have to go?"
"Fine. But you better be ready by the time I come back." Palak took the cards in her hand and walked out of the door. She then proceeded to walk to the other rooms and barge in. She had a copy of all the cards, because she was clearly the most responsible person. She shook everyone awake, despite them objecting, and told everyone to get ready and go to room 209 with her and Joon. She also said, "If you don't come in 20 minutes or less, you don't want to know what will happen." That sure got everyone to their senses. As she walked back into her room with speed, she walked right out of it just as fast. Joon had walked out of the bathroom with only a towel on. After a full 10 minutes, she knocked on the door to let Joon know she was coming inside.
When she came inside flushed a bright shade or red, he laughed and said, "Have you never seen a boy before in your life? Why do you get so embarrassed seeing me, it's not like I'm naked."
"I don't have a brother and my parents are divorced, so what do you think?" she retorted.
"At least I'm ready, like you asked. Because you're scary. Very scary. Like my mom."
"Rude. But I'm proud of you for listening," she checked her phone, "And if the others find me scary as well, they should be coming in about 7 minutes."
"If July and Jacob don't come by then can I go into their room? You know, brotherly instinct."
"You really think they would like each other? They're such good friends, they wouldn't just do that. It's just like us," questioned Palak. Joon remembered their kiss.
"Yeah. Just like us," he said, disappointed.
"Hey, why'd you say it like tha-," she was cut off.
Ethan and Violet arrived coincidentally wearing matching clothing. Ethan wore an oversized, navy blue hoodie with Japanese lettering, ripped black jeans, and a white bucket hat. Violet wore a navy blue, dragon detailed long-sleeved shirt, with a chain attached to a front chest pocket along with a black, pleated skirt and a white cap with the words 'fuck off' embroided in Japanese. Her hair was in a messy braid. She also had a small, black bag to hold her phone, wallet, and other things. They looked as if they were a real couple.
Palak and Joon looked at each other and realized they were wearing completely different things from each other. While Palak wore a pink plaid sports bra and matching sweatpants, Joon wore a Playboy hoodie and ripped jeans.
"We don't have to match, right?" said Palak, eying Joon's interesting fashion choice.
Violet looked over at Ethan. "Oi. Why are we matching?"
Ethan flinched, "Oh.. I'll change."
"No, never mind," Violet sighed. "Keep on what you're wearing. I don't care." Inside, however, she was a little happy that they would look like a couple out in public. She never matched outfits with anyone before, not even her close friends. Just then, Palak's phone timer rang, signaling that the time was up for them to get ready.
"Guess who didn't come in time?" Joon said excitedly. "And guess who gets to check on them?" Palak laughed and gave him the card.
"Go live your best life Joon," Palak said, all smiley.
"Have fun," Violet laughed. "So, what's the tea about last night, Palak?"
"What tea?" Palak questioned.
Violet frowned. "Based on your expression, I can tell you didn't do squat," she said and fake pouted. "I'm disappointed." Ethan was still listening to the conversation, blushing at hearing the girl-talk.
"Then how about you and Ethan?" Palak questioned with an eyebrow raised.
"That, my friend is a secret," Violet winked with a finger on her lips. Ethan blushed, again, at her statement.
Meanwhile Joon barged into Jacob and July's room and saw them talking and laughing while watching cartoons. Joon didn't miss Jacob's arm around July's waist either.
"Are you kidding me? You were supposed to be in my room 5 minutes ago, what are you doing watching TV?" he yelled.
July and Jacob looked at each other. "Oops," they said in unison, and it sounded like neither really cared.
"I hope Palak goes easy on you," Joon sighed. This made July and Jacob's eyes widen identically as they scrambled off of the bed to get ready. July changed in the bathroom while Jacob just did it in the room. It didn't really matter that he changed in front of Joon, since they were both guys afterall.
When they came out, July was wearing a cute light blue shirt with a white butterfly in the top right corner. tucked into a pair of baggy dark blue military pants. She had dangling earrings, and silver rings only on her left hand's pointer and ring finger. Her hair was down and wavy, with sunglasses with a white border placed on top of her head like a headband. Jacob ended up in a white shirt with a blue stripe in the middle and blue jeans, and his hair stayed messy. In a way, they had matched two, in a blue and white theme.
Finally, when everyone was ready, The six of them went down to where breakfast was served and ate all sorts of combinations from the buffet. Violet sandwiched bacon in between pancakes and called it her version of 'bacon pancakes' from Adventure Time. Ethan tried it along with her, and agreed that it was good. Joon decided to make a healthy sandwich, while Palak gave him the finger and filled her bowl up with Lucky Charms. July and Jacob both decided they would make waffles and scrambled eggs, the "normal" thing to do, as they called it. After finishing breakfast, they headed out the door to their first day.
