Keeping Logan at arm's length was easier said than done.Three days of silence between us and now I was leaving.Everything he did I was aware of. Everything he said I listened to or took to heart. Clearly he didn't feel the same for me. I was starting to open my heart to a man I met and had sex with in a week. It took more time than that for me to feel any connection with anyone.
I was folding my clothes minding my business, when I felt hands grab my hips.
Pushing his hands off of me I turned to him and crossed my arms.

"You don't get to talk to me when you feel like. Back. Off." I said turning my back to him once again.

"You don't have to look at me but listen. I didn't want to hurt your feelings intentionally.  It's just that I'm not cut out be anything in anyone's life."

"You don't get to make that decision. It's a wonder how your family gets along with you."

"I don't have anyone. They're dead and I'm an only child."

"Sorry to hear that but that's not an excuse to treat anyone like shit under your shoe. Unless you're coming to tell me you want me to stay you can fuck right off cause we both know you want me to stay but you're too god damn stubborn."

I shoved all my clothes in my bag and placed them by the door and waited for my ride. As soon as they arrive at the sent coordinates they'll call and tell me come down.
I didn't want to leave but.....Logan wasn't fighting so why should I. I waited for Logan's phone to ring and when it did, I grabbed my bags. Logan answered and told whoever it was I was on my way.

Three hours later I was crying in arms of my best friend. When I left I didn't look back at Logan. I just slammed the door and I never looked back or even said goodbye. He tried but I ignored him. If he had said anything I would have stayed and I just couldn't.

"Is he really worth your tears babe? I mean come on, he basically used you."

"I'm serious.  He's....different and some how I fell in love in a few days and it was magical and I found someone who understood me and accepted me."

"He's sounds just great but we have to get you back to work and to normal life."

"I know. I'll try..to get on."

Janine pat my leg and glanced at her phone while getting up.

"Look, you found someone and that's good. Now you know what to look for in a new potential man. I'm sure they're better men."

"I will be staying away from men for now. Thank you."

Janine starred at me and cockrd her head to a side studying me. I rolled my eyes and looked away.

"You really love him don't you?"she asked softly.

"Yes...."

"I'm sorry I didn't take it serious but I've never...seen you like this.."

"Trust me....I'm in a loop myself."
