the day was no where near to finishing. it felt like an eternity had passed according to sooyoung for the first half of the school day. she walked over to the cafeteria in slight agitation. nothing was going her way at all. she kept doing stupid things by accident in her lessons and almost tripped over whilst others just stared and giggled. she was taller then most classmates, but she tried to stay as calm as possible. if she showed aggression they were bound to be scared. perhaps she should take waking up early into consideration.

she slid her tray onto the far stretched table, as she collected her food. she grabbed a small carton of strawberry milk and turned around to try see where her friends were. at last, she spotted them, the were sitting on the table closest to the big window. it seemed to be their favourite spot by now, nowadays she'd always see them sit there. the girls were too busy laughing to see sooyoung walk over to an empty seat next to hyejoo. she slammed her tray down and flopped down onto the seat. that's when her friends realised she was there. hyejoo looked at the girl next to her, she seemed miserable. "what happened, pretty girl?" hyejoo genuinely looked concerned as she said that. "i guess today is just not my day." the girl replied, picking at her food. her group frowned towards her, usually the girl is talkative enough to spit out a few jokes. but the mood and atmosphere went down as she said that. "then uh, how about we go out this saturday?" jinsoul, the girl who's hair suddenly changed black within a day, said. jinsoul was quite famous for being one of the only bleached blondes in the school. everyone was shocked after she dyed it black. her hair must've been fried though. she received polite nods from the rest of her friends whilst she looked over to sooyoung. "what about you, soo?" she asked, she had a feeling the dark haired girl would reject but it was the other way round. "ok"

jiwoo opened up her little lunch box decorated with cute stickers and things she liked. she took out her chopsticks and picked up a few noodles before gently and quietly slurping them up. she was sitting at a small table by herself next to exit of the cafeteria. she kicked her legs up and down as she remembered that the lunch she was eating was just a snack she didn't eat yesterday. it was cold. but refreshing. after finishing, she was still hungry. but she didn't have money on her to pay for school lunches, and she always made her lunch at home. for once, she groaned and held her stomach in hunger. as expected, no one payed attention to the girl and how she felt. she was truly invisible to everyone. mayhaps she now understood the word lonely. she never really minded how no one talked to her before. but she had the urge to be noticed by at least some one. did it matter who to her? actually it did. she would love to be seen by ha sooyoung.

the short girl quickly put the box back into her bag and got up to exit the hall. maybe if she walked passed sooyoungs table she would be able to feel some stares on her. so she swung her bag around her shoulder, and walked round to it. although she was by the exit, sooyoungs table was quite close. it wouldn't seem strange if she didn't go straight for the doors. it could've been the only time ever she felt this, but she felt confident enough to do the small action. so she did. but it wasn't even worth it. no one looked at the girl. what did she expect, though?

it was the last lesson of the day. english. jiwoo had forgotten she had placed the notes into the back of her textbook she was about to use. so she didn't write anything. she wasn't even bothered she wasn't taking notes. her mood became disappointed as she realised her sad reality. her head was placed into her two hands whilst her back leaned forward onto the desk. her eyes were near to closing as she stared out of the window. it looked like it was about to rain, again. couldn't it be summer already? jiwoo was sick and tired of watching the same weather out the window all the time. all of a sudden the bell rang as the students in her class all got up to leave. finally. this time she wasn't going to stay in the classroom, she actually wanted to go home. she aggressively picked up her textbook as she shoved it into her bag. something fell out of it, but she didn't realise. she then put her pencils and pens away following her journal. she didn't want to get wet as she didn't bring a coat so she ran quickly to the exit and towards her bus stop.

it seemed as though everyone had almost left the class by now, a few were just chatting, but it felt empty. sooyoung was still packing away when she saw a piece of paper by number 09's desk. i better return it to the girl who sits here it could be important she thought, turning the piece of paper around. it was folded and she didn't want to seem like a snoop, so she didn't read it. thank god. she put on her black thin rain coat and placed her bag onto both of her shoulders, she put the hood up as she headed out of the classroom. she quickly walked towards her bus stop only to notice it was the girl the note she holding tightly belonged to. sooyoung stood there for awhile. how was she going to go up and greet such an 'introverted' girl. after thinking things through she walked over to the girl.

"hey.." the tall girl said as she sat down next to the other one, who was jiwoo. jiwoo looked over to see what was going on, someone must've been meeting up with their friend but soon she realised that she was the one getting spoken to. the short girl looked around for a while and then pointed to herself. "are you.. talking to.. m-me?" she managed to get out of her mouth. the taller girl softly chuckled, perhaps this girl wasn't that bad. "yes, i think you dropped this?" she said back, placing the paper into the other girls hand. jiwoo looked down and immediately realised that it was her notes on sooyoung. she was really hoping that she didn't read it. she kept her cool and thanked sooyoung for returning it to her. they sat at the bus stop in comfortable silence until jiwoos bus arrived. they bid goodbye to each other as she walked up the bus stairs. maybe today was just jiwoos lucky day.
