as time goes by, you learn to forgive. you forget your past struggles and you live your life. it continues, no matter how many hardships are it it, and no matter how good it is. you keep walking down your own road that never stops until you reach the dead end. you learn and laugh, you meet new people, you go to different places. you smile less, and smile more. you cry and scream too. that's just how the world works. how we all work.

she took in deep breaths as a smile appeared on her face. her hand was grasping around 3-4 shopping bags as she struggled to walk in her long, thick coat. her small designer purse was rapped around her left shoulder, just how her school bag was. she was on her way home to reach her parents and little sister. it had been 1 and a half years since she had left the school that put her in so much pain, and she never felt more happy. now she had friends who loved and cared for her, she had no rumours to go around about her, and no one bought up her past. tonight she was going to drop off the food she bought and make her way to her part time job in the café.
once she reached home, her mum opened the door. she had gotten a lot closer to her through out the period of time, and trusted her family more then she had ever. she came inside just to place the bag full of food on the table and go upstairs to dress in her work uniform and put away some clothes. she waved goodbye to her little sister and her parents kissed her on the cheeks as she headed off towards the bus stop. this bus stop held so much memories, ones that were bad, but ones that made her slightly grin. after a few minutes, her bus arrived and she got on.
she pushed the glass doors open to reveal quite a busy café. this is probably the busiest she's ever seen it, as she doesn't work during the day because of school. she bowed to some of the customers who smiled towards her whilst she walked over to the section where the drinks and food were made. she lifted up the bar and walked over to her coworker, who was also her friend. "jungeun!" she loudly whispered in excitement. "oh my god, jiwoo, i thought you weren't coming, hurry up and take orders!" the slightly older girl ordered jiwoo, she laughed at it and got on with her work.

"i heard there's a kinda new café around this area," jinsoul said, observing her surroundings. "we should totally go!" she showed an excited face to her friend, sooyoung, who was right next to her. she nodded in agreement. they were just standing there until jinsoul pulled sooyoung along into the direction of the café.
they soon arrived and saw through the large glass windows that it was quite busy. "café del luna?" sooyoung questioned, jinsoul looked at her friend who was reading the name of it. "such a basic name." she sighed. the whole country lacked creativity to her. "the basic ones always have the best food and drinks!" jinsoul responded, making sooyoung chuckle as they walked inside.
"so you go order whilst i find a table?" jinsoul asked her friend, receiving a nod. "what do you want to have?" jinsoul stared long and hard at the menu on the wall right next to them. "i'll just have an iced coffee." she finally decided, turning to her friend. "ok, go get a table now." sooyoung shooed the girl along as she proceeded to walk towards the queue at the counter.

jiwoo was happily serving the customers of all ages. handing small children lollipops and giving people extra sugar packets with their drinks. she enjoyed seeing people nowadays, although, she never really used to. seeing them laugh together and act happy put her in such a good mood. she practically only thought about positive things nowadays. the queue was becoming shorter but now and then some people added there selves to the line. as she was giving an old lady her tea she noticed someone familiar in the line. "could that be..." she whispered to herself in confusion. "surely not..." she became a bit nervous since a particular girl in the queue looked exactly like ha sooyoung. as the line became shorter and shorter she realised it was. what was she going to do. they haven't talked in ages. that would be so awkward. before sooyoung could reach jiwoo, the girl turned towards jungeun. "hey i'm going to go into the back to get something and then serve tables instead." the brown haired girl nodded watching jiwoo quickly rush to the back room. she let out a sigh of relief. she stayed in the back for a few more minutes just to be sure sooyoung would be gone. to keep herself occupied she helped some of the workers stock up the ice machines and coffee makers. once she was sure the girl was out of the line she returned to the counter. jungeun turned towards her friend, holding a tray filled with an iced coffee and an iced tea. "could you give this to table 16?" jiwoo nodded, taking the tray from the others hands then proceeding to walk over to the table. that is when she realised she made a big mistake.
