jiwoo walked over to the table near the corner, her hands steady on the tray, watching each step she took carefully just to be sure she wouldn't trip over and fall. that would be so embarrassing. she finally reached table 16 and slid the tray onto the wooden surface without looking up. "here are your drinks" she said kindly, and lifted her head up to smile at the customers, but that's when her bright face dimmed. "thank you so much!" one of the girls said looking up to jiwoo and locking in eye contact with her. jiwoo realised that they had noticed her so she quickly stood herself up straight, ready to walk away, but unfortunately, one of them called her name.

"wait," jiwoo turned around feeling a little awkward, maybe uncomfortable at this point. she nodded at them acting like she had no clue who they were or what they were going to say.
"kim jiwoo?" oh no. they found her out. well, obviously, she still looked the same. she laughed a little nervously, replying with "haha yes that's me..." perhaps now she had answered the question she'd be able to walk away. but no, gosh, just let her do her job. sooyoung, one of the girls at table 16 grabbed jiwoos hand, "wait jiwoo can we please talk outside." jiwoo was silent for a second, before looking the girl dead in the eyes. "i can't, i'm at work." jiwoo tugged her hand away from sooyoung, and walked over to where jungeun was suspiciously watching the scene. meanwhile, jinsoul was just simply sipping on her drink, processing all this information. once jiwoo was out of her sight, she laughed in sooyoung's face. "did the famous sooyoung just get turned down by the quiet jiwoo?" giggles filled half of that sentence as the older girl simply rolled her eyes.

—————

jungeun couldn't help stare at what was going on in the corner of the café, where jiwoo was. she was a little concerned as it looked like the younger girl was getting harassed in some way. she began to worry, she could see the awkwardness jiwoo felt written all over her face, she wanted to walk over and ask if there was a problem. but she was too busy with the big queues to do so. she curiously watched every movement of the 3 girls, still somehow managing to do her job. you could call her a multitasking goddess. at last, she was relieved of stress when she saw jiwoo tug out of the other girls grip, watching her come back to the back of the counter.

"jiwoo!" jungeun exclaimed, reminding her of how the younger girl greeted her a few hours ago, but she said it in a more concerned way. jiwoo noticed the tone of voice jungeun used, and looked at her in confusion. jungeun faced the girl, "jiwoo, did they do anything to you?" she placed her hands on her shoulders and gave a reassuring look so jiwoo would know if anything did happen she'd be right there for her. "noo don't worry" jiwoo repeatedly waved her hands in front of jungeun, showing her she was all ok. jungeun smiled, her best friend was safe. "i'll tell you about it all later though, okay?" jiwoo said to jungeun, as she nodded.

—————

"how do i get her to talk to me" sooyoung's strange, whiney voice could just about be heard by everyone from where she was sitting. jinsoul was barely invested in this as she was more focused on her beverage. "jinsoul are you even listening to me?" she questioned, slightly raged. "huh? me? oh yeah i am, totally..." jinsoul said trying to remember the question sooyoung had just asked. to her luck, she remembered. "uhm, just drag her out of the café." jinsoul shrugged. sooyoung looked at her with disappointment in her eyes, "i cant do that!" she practically shouted, she was irritated by the reply. "sure you can, when she comes to serve another table just drag her out." sooyoung started to think if that was the only option, other from that jiwoo would just walk away or ignore her.

so... sooyoung did drag her out.

—————

"what on earth was that for!" jiwoo said, as she regained her own body strength, and control over it. "it was for, you didn't want to talk to me before." sooyoung replied, she always had a soft spot for jiwoo, so her reply was in a soft tone. jiwoo sighed, "just please get over what you wanted to say to me, i have customers waiting in line and jungeun is all alone." so that's what her name is 'jungeun' sooyoung thought. sooyoung took a deep breath before talking to jiwoo. "why did you leave..?" she asked, jiwoo narrowed her eyes towards her, surely it would've been obvious enough for the older girl to tell. "i couldn't stand the lies anymore, and to think that you didn't even try help me." jiwoo sounded harsh, in her eyes, the sooyoung she always adored was hard to forgive in this exact moment. "look i didn't know what to do" sooyoung explained "hyejoo is also my friend and-" jiwoo sighed "why didn't i guess that it was hyejoo, of course, it had to be." she whispered to herself, before returning her gaze to sooyoung. after a few minutes of them talking back and forth and sooyoung trying to open up, jiwoo thought this conversation was done and dusted. "alright alright, i get it..." jiwoo spoke up, now a little more comfortable in front of the other. "i won't hate you as much as i did from now on...
can i go back to work?" sooyoung nodded. "oh wait" jiwoo turned back raising an eyebrow. "before you go i just wanted to let you know that..." that what? "i miss you." sooyoung suddenly blurted out, and, jiwoo stood there, speechless.
