Sitting with a group of pretty girls was the last way Jungeun thought she would spend her Friday evening. Honestly, just seeing Jinsol again wasn't even an option she thought would actually happen. But she got to see Jinsol, spend time with Jinsol, and then spend time with pretty girls? It was definitely one of her most eventful Fridays.

She watched and listened as Jinsol and her friends laughed and talked, passing around alcohol and food while playing a card game Jungeun didn't catch the name of. (But when she looked over at Jinsol's cards, she resisted the urge to roll her eyes as the familiar colors of Uno cards stared back at her.) She felt hot and crowded at first, and like everybody was staring at her when she wasn't looking. It was a bit nerve-wracking, and she wanted to leave before they even sat there for a full five minutes. But after mentally shutting her brain up and casually (read: nervously) glanced around, a couple would look over at her, but overall everybody acted as if Jungeun was always a part of their group. The girl on the other side of her, Sooyoung, would lean over and make jokes about the other girls, trying to get Jungeun to relax. It was working, and Jungeun was glad.

"Jinsollie," a girl across from Jungeun piped up as the song transitioned into a slow R&B track. "Where's the booze you got?"

Jinsol perked up and grabbed the backpack behind her on the couch. "You should've reminded me earlier instead of letting us drink this mess Sooyoung brought—"

"Hey! I have you know I paid top dollar for this."

Jinsol rolled her eyes and dug in her bag. She pulled out all the snacks the bought, but not the alcohol bottle. She even turned the bag upside down and shook it, only for coins and a folded bill to fall out.

"Jinsollll," another girl whined, throwing her head back.

"She forgot," Sooyoung said.

"She dropped it," the first girl sighed.

"How did she come back with a girl but not the drink?"

"She sold the drink for the girl."

The group laughed light-heartedly as Jinsol pouted down at her bag. Jungeun felt her heart hurt, knowing how it felt to have people disappointed in you. She wanted to hug Jinsol and assure her that everything was okay, that they could go back and she would even offer to buy the alcohol for her. However, she wasn't expecting what Jinsol did next.

Jinsol hopped up, her backpack in hand. "You're all a bunch of drunks," she commented, not sounding at all hurt or upset.

"As if you weren't as well," Sooyoung shot back, leaning against the couch comfortably.

"But at least I have taste."

Jinsol held her hand out, which Jungeun took with a hot face. Everybody was definitely looking at her then, and she avoided making eye contact with them all, even though she was just sitting down and laughing with Sooyoung at Jinsol horribly losing at Uno.

"Anyways," Jinsol continued, "I'm going back to see if I left it at the store, because I know I had picked it up."

"Don't come back with another girl!"

"Jungeun, you should run as soon as you can," Sooyoung advised with a playful grin.

"Shut up, don't give her the idea!" Jinsol loudly whispered.

After more banter between Jinsol and her friends, they were out of the place. Jungeun felt like she could breathe better and relaxed a bit more. They had only been there for a maximum of fifteen minutes, which felt more like an hour to Jungeun.

Then Jungeun looked down. Jinsol was holding her hand again. And she couldn't breathe. Again.

"You okay there?" Jinsol asked, looking over at Jungeun.
