Chapter Nineteen - That's My Child

The Realm

Once Emi entered the realm, her hair started to change to silver and so her son. felt like a small stabbing feeling inside her stomach. She wasn't feeling well to be her again, but she doesn't have a choice if she wants to save her daughter from this nightmare. She looked at around the place but every cell inside her body was on emergency alerts. Maya was calmed and holding Alas's hand as they were walking on the hallway they Saw Alciel waiting for them in front of the big door.

"Oh Emilia I see all of you are here" as Alciel looked at the family Infront of him

"I came to bring Alas to see her father" Emi said without adding more words.

Alciel opened the big gate for them as the door opened a chilly wind came out bringing goosebumps to the three who were on alerts, Emi, Sadouzki, and Alas.

The hall was dark, and they couldn't see anything except the dims moonlight from the window. They couldn't feel anything but heavy breathing across the hall and then they heard a creek sound and someone was walking towered them.

" I saw that you brought the whole family with you" Said Lord Maou sarcastically.

"Yes I had to bring them with me" Emi was saying it prudently.

Maou looked at Maya and Sadouzki as he deep down wished if they never existed since they are a symbol of Emi's betrayal. Then he opened his hand welcoming Alas Ramus to his hug, where she looked at Emi and she nodded to her letting Alas run towards her papa.

"Papa I missed you" said Alas

" I miss you more Alas" Maou hugged her tightly

Emi looked at them and waited for Maou to look at her but he didn't care about her he just held Alas hand and took her toward the door but then Emi stopped him.

"Wait Maou" she looked at him stopping for a bit without turning to her.

"what do you want" he reached the doorknob.

"Can we stay here tonight I have something to say" hesitantly saying

He turned to her surprised a bit by what she said. Why Hero Emilia wants to stay in the Realm with a demon lord. Does she really think that he might harm Alas even though that time his jealousy controlled him.

"Why do you want to stay here" He looked at her and then to her kids.

"You see I need your help with something" she pleaded

"My help and why should I help the hero my enemy" he gazed her

She knows she had to tell him right here and now since he is about to leave and kick her out.

"I need you to help my daughter Maya" she held Maya's hand tightly.

He looked at her with a question mark on his expression as he didn't know why he should help her daughter. He came close to Emi as he wanted to know what is she hiding or is she trying to do some tricks on him.

"You said it she is your daughter, not mine so why do you need help from a devil" he looked then at the girl then growled at Emi" Leave right now and I don't want to hear a word"

Emi tried to talk but he looked angry and she knew that if she pushed him more and pleaded he might do something to her or the kids. She looked at Alas and a tear fell from her eyes. She hated how she became so vulnerable since she had her kids, she loves them but she can be weak if something happened to the kids.

Maou took Alas to show her where she will stay and looked at her as she looked sad and he knew because she want Emi but Emi hide her from him in the past years.

While Maou was showing the room to Alas he felt a strong power near him and then a sound of something smashing followed by screams from his subordinate. Maou rushed to the hall to see who entered his Realm and looks like that person is so powerful.

Maou Froze when he Saw Emi on the floor badly injured and holding her son tightly protection him but from whom. Then he gazed around to be surprised by a demon flying from the next door smashing the wall. He rushed to the room prepared to fight that strong demon as he sensed his demonic power.

The dark Aura was covering her and her eyes turned crimson red and she dashed toward Maou attacking him. He tried to evade the attack but she managed to scratch him on his side leaving a cut that the blood started to flow.

He regained his control and held Maya grabbing her from her horns and saying some Domenic words. He didn't need to ask what happened to her as he knew that she is a demon but let's say part demon.

Emi was holding Sadouzki and crying. She saw Maou chanting something and then a sealed covered Maya and vanished.

Maou POV

I knew once I saw Maya turning into a demon that she is my child and this berserk mood is natural since no one sealed her power as she needs to seal it until she turns a puberty age. Just why did Emi lie to Me and why she is 2 years old not months old. She is a demon and she should be born this year not two years back.

The horn started to disappear and I held her in my arm and she looked at me and went to sleep. I took her to my Room and covering her letting her sleep peacefully.

I ordered Emi to follow me to the Realm hall heading to the throne room. I saw Alas standing next to the door and I asked her

"Alas take the child to your room and I need to talk to Emi alone"

I saw her nod and she took the child from Emi and they went outside then I looked at Emi angry.

"Why did you lie to me about Maya"

She answered me without raising her head" I was afraid that you will take her from me"

I sighed looking at her" Are you crazy maybe if I knew about her earlier, we would sort things out between us for her sake but now for sure I have to take her away"

"No please Maou she is my child"

I screamed at her" My child as well and you endangered her safety and others around her from your act. Don't you know a demon child need to be sealed as he can't control his power"

She didn't say anything all I could hear is her sobbing

"If we controlled it once she was born then she could have lived a normal life and you may take her until she becomes a full-fledge demon so I make her my successor."

"But now you controlled her power let me take her please" she pleaded to me

"No way I need to teach her even if we sealed her power she has an overflow of her demonic power and since it took two years to seal it she is still powerful especially if she gets angry she can harm anyone near her.

It took me half an hour to convince Emi to leave Maya with me at least she needs to leave her today and tomorrow we can sort things out as I knew that Maya will not be awake at least for a week from now since she still has this aura and for the seal to take full control it will need a week she will be in a state of sleeping tell then.

I saw Emi going to my room and I followed her and she kissed her daughter and said goodbye to her and she headed to Alas's room to take her child and go home.

I returned to the throne room as I knew by now Emi left the Realm and to my surprise, I saw her about to leave holding her son and he wasn't like the first time I saw him and then I screamed at her "THAT'S MY CHILD".
