Chapter twenty - How many kids?

Maou was furious; he did not believe that even the baby is his. He glared Emi angrily and approached the baby to hold him. Emi was afraid that Sadouzki would throw a new tantrum because of this devil aura surrounding Maou, but to her surprise, her baby boy didn't cry. He just looked at Maou and smiled before his hair turns to silver-white again.

Maou POV

I looked at the baby as he smiled at me, and then he changed his look to match the angelic face similar to his hero mother. I didn't understand anything, but I held the child looking at him. He is a small version of me, but he is an angel. How come he is my child and Maya is mine as well. She was supposed to carry my baby for two years, but she had Maya in nine months then how she had after two years this child.
" We need to talk about this," I said without looking at Emi.
" please tomorrow, not now I have to take Sadouzki home to sleep," Emi pleaded to me
"I said we need to talk, and right now or I won't let you leave" I glared at her.

I walked to the throne room, where no one will disturb us.

Nobody POV

In the throne room, Maou seated on his throne, holding his child, and Emi was in the middle of the hall, squeezing her hand tightly and looking at the floor. She didn't want to look at Maou as she knew he would judge her on how she acted and hide his kids from her.
" so how many more," Maou asked Emi.
" how many what" Emi didn't understand him.
" how many kids you are hiding from me," he asked sarcastically.
"I only have Maya and sado. I don't have more kids that I hide them from you," she stated angrily
" so then tell me, Hero Emilia, how did you manage to have birth two times in a different year" stated maou
" because I'm half-angel, I managed to have Maya after nine-months as my genes were strong enough to have earlier than a demon child should be born. As for Sado he was born normally after two years," she answered him.
" But how come even you gave birth? I thought you had a miscarriage" Moua had a question mark on his face
" well, thanks to Alas help when she revived me and healed the injury you caused, she protected the babies. That's why in the ultrasound, they didn't manage to detect them."

Emi was standing still and discussing with Maou on the kid's matter. They even get into a fight, but they calmed themself after Sado started cryings. Koto came after them since Emi was late, making Maou even angrier at Emi, but she managed to fo with Koto home. She convinced Maou instead of giving Sado to Maou to visit the realm every day and see Maya and Alas.

A week has passed, and Emi every day comes with Koto. he drops her at the gate of the demon lord land, and then she goes inside the castle escorted by demons. Maou, as usual, gazing Emi and Koto, and he feels like he wants to kill them both. He did not complain or brought the subject up again regards the kids but today is the day Maya wakes up.
Emi arrived at the castle and entered the massive hall looking around her, and she noticed the demons and demoness spreading across the aisle like they are waiting for some important person. Maou was standing next to him was Aircel and Lucifer.

" let's get this done with follow me" Mou turned his back to Emi, heading tower the east wing.
Emi followed Maou carrying her excited son to the dark east wing. She always hated this side of the wing, but she had to endure it since her daughters were sleeping there. She was anticipating this moment where she will hold her daughter again and see her smile. Plus, she never was separated from her before. Now. She had to be away from her for a whole week.

" give me a Sado. I know you are excited to see Maya," Maou said to Emi.
She didn't argue with him because she wants to run and hold her girl. She wants to be the first one Maya sees when she wakes up.

When the door opened, Emi felt the cold breeze hitting her. She saw glowing red eyes in the middle of the darkroom. She felt a cold sweat drop down from her spine. Then Alas opened the curtain allowing the sunlight to hit the room and spread its warmth across the room.

Maya was standing next to her sister wearing a red dress, and her long hair is open, and she smiled at her mom, revealing a small fang.
" Good Morning, Momma " Maya smiled at her mom
"Maya morning," Emi dashed to hug her daughter.
Just to see her again is enough for her, regardless of her new appearance.
" Papa told me momma would come tomorrow, so Maya was brave and didn't cry," she said, blushing.
" good girl, Maya is a big girl now," Emi looked, blaming Maou as she didn't know she woke up before the promised time.

Time skip

In the garden, Maya was playing freely like before, and Alas is running after Maya. Emi was sitting outside while Sado is sleeping in her lap. Rika just finished feeding her daughter and put her in her crib. She asked the maid to help her take the snacks and tea outside where Emi and her kids are.

" She changed a lot, didn't she," Rika said to Emi.
" I was shocked when I saw her eyes. She used to have beautiful green eyes, but now her eyes are red like her father. Even she has a devilish smile, that innocent smile disappeared. " looking at her daughter hopelessly.
" but now she is fine, no danger around her" Rika tried to lift her friend's spirit.
" I know this is the best for her, mostly she is a daughter of a demon lord, and she got his characteristic, but I think I need time to adjust" she looked at Maya

Maou now was walking to the garden where the girls are playing, and after him, Koto was following him. Emi was surprised to see Koto with Maou since when the became friends. The girls, when they saw Koto they ran toward him, greeting him.

Maou said with a husky voice soon came out as a growl.
" It's time to end this and end all this madness. The demon lord has called his successor."
By stating this, Maya's eyes glowed, and a dark purple flame surrounded her.
