~ Lydia POV ~
I'm lying on the ground. I check the clock. It is 1 AM. My body feels like it's broken. The Squip also says nothing anymore.
I crawl onto my bed. My eyes are getting heavier and I feel myself sinking.
My eyes open again, but this time it feels like I'm awake, but like, REALLY awake. I look around. I fly?!
I see my body lying on my bed, it's sleeping. I have astral projection.
(For the people who don't know: astral projection or out-of-body experience is a kind of dream in which your soul goes out of your body and you experience everything at that moment. I have never had it myself, but i'm a little obsessed with dreams so yeah.)
I fly through my door. I see Barbara and Adam sitting on the couch next to Delia and my father. They are watching a movie. A door opens. Everyone turns their heads to the door. Beetlejuice is in the doorway.
"Heeeey Adam~" says Beetlejuice. He walks towards Adam but Barbara pushes Beetlejuice away. My father gets up. "Beetlejuice?! How do you get-"
I fly back to my bedroom. I see a woman there. She has brown hair and red lipstick on. She is sitting next to me.
"Who are you?!" I ask. The woman looks at me. "Wait.. Lydia-" she says. I recognize her voice. It's the voice of my Squip. "Woah, never thought you'd look like this."
My Squip stands up. She's tall. Her mouth is smiling. For a moment I don't understand why she has to smile, but then I realize...
If the Squip is some kind of ghost and so am I, and my body doesn't have a soul in it now... could the Squip take my body over?
