~ Jeremy POV ~

I'm waiting for Michael at our lockers. Our second period almost starts. I see a boy in a red sweater, headphones and glasses walking down the hall.

"Michael!" I call. Michael looks up. He walks towards me while he's half dancing. "Hey, Jeremy!"  he says.

Michael is my best friend since the first grade. After school we usually play video games. He is the best friend anyone could ever wish for!

"What is our next lesson?" I ask Michael. He looks at his phone. "Geography." he replies.

As we walk towards the classroom, I see Christine walking. She sees us too. "Hey Michael and Jeremy!" she says.

I used to have a crush on Christine, but I've been over it for a while now. We're just really good friends now. Recently she told me and Michael she was bi. I thought it was very good of her she told us that.

The three of us walk to the classroom. We sit down in our seats. Michael and I sit in the back of the class. We see a girl we have never seen before: she has got black hair and a black dress.

"Good morning, class. You don't have to grab your books today because we are going to give presentations. Today we are going to make groups. I want to ask you to make groups of three persons?" our teacher says.

I see Jake, Christine and Rich form a group, Brooke, Jenna and Chloe and the rest of the class. Michael and I are left together, like always.

"Does everyone have a group?" our teacher asks. "No, not yet." says a girl's voice. I raise my hand slowly. "Our g-group is also i-incomplete." "Well, Lydia, you can sit next to Michael and Jeremy."

The girl gets up. She is quite short, I notice. She joins us.

As everyone starts, it remains quiet between us. Michael breaks the silence. "I'm Michael and that's Jeremy." he says to the girl. The girl smiles. "My name is Lydia."
