Catra's (POV)

My nose burned with the smell of what could only be described as death as I woke up in the morning. My blanket nearly completely off my bed, and my right arm hanging off the bed. I yawn, and sit up straight. I scratch my mane and flicker my ears. I scratch my eyes, and look around my room. My  eyes fully open when I realize that Leoparina was gone. I jump out of bed, my tail flickering high in the air as I search around my room.

"Leoparina!" I call as I through all my things all over the place.

"Leoparina!" I call once again, but still nothing. I start to panic until I felt something grab my tail. I turn around, and see my now five year old daughter standing behind, my tail in her clawed hand.

"Mommy, are you okay?" I sigh a sigh of relief.

"I'm fine, Leoparina. Just got worried there." I bend down, and pick her up.

"Don't scare me like that, Leoparina." Leoparina smiles and laughs.

"Aww but mommy that's no fun." I smirk.

"I know giving me a heart attack is super fun to you, but I personally want to life long enough to watch you grow up to be the next Force Captain."

"I know, I know. But it's so boring here." I put her down and go to brush my teeth using the sink I had in my room. I speak again as I put tooth paste on my tooth brush.

"Can't you play with the other cadets?" I start to brush my teeth.

"Yeah, but they only care about training and junk. They don't like any of the stuff I like."

"Which is?" I spit into the sink.

"Reading, drawing, playing hide and seek, singing songs, dancing around, and just being goofy!" I smile at her as I finish brushing my hair with a large brush. I go to my closet and start to pick out my clothes for the day.

"Leoparina, did you change your clothes yet today?"

"No." I nod, and pull out her clothes too. My clothes were my normal Force Captain uniform with my chest window. As for my daughter's it was a simple red and white shirt, and gray pants. I hand her her clothes and start to get dressed in my clothes.

"Well, if the cadets won't play with you, see if you can entertain yourself for a bit awhile I go to work." Leoparina sighed.

"But mom, you're always working. Can't you skip a day and play with me?" She pulls on my freshly put on pants. Her eyes big and wide like a new born baby's. I lower my ears.

"Leoparina, I wish I could, but this work is important." I finish putting on my clothes and grab my head piece.

"What's so important about it?" I get on my knees as I finish putting on my red head piece. I knew Leoparina had trouble getting dressed in the morning. I pick her up, and place her on my bed. I lay her flat on her back. She crosses her little chubby baby arms as I pull off her pj pants and put on her gray shorts.

"It's important cause your mommy is fighting in a war with the Rebellion." I explain as I sit her up straight to change her shirt.

"You never did tell me who the Rebellion are." I pull off her pj shirt, and start to put on her white and red shirt.

"They are a bunch of princesses who think they can do whatever they want, and not deal with the out comes." I hiss slightly at the end of that statement. Leoparina frowns as I finish dressing her.

"But why do they do that?"

"Cause they don't care about anything but themselves." I pick her up, and place her on the floor on my room. She walks away from the bed, but soon stops to face me. Her tiny arms crossed again.
