The next day was a weekend. Well, more specifically it was Saturday. Naturally, I slept in after everything that happened last night.
When I finally woke up around 11 I still had my jeans on. I never like sleeping in jeans and I could feel how uncomfortable my sleep was. When I took them off, I could see where the seams were all night. I changed into sweatpants. I didn't feel like putting on a shirt at the moment because I just didn't want to. Debating whether to eat, folded up all the clothes that were bought yesterday. Finally, I decided to eat and headed downstairs.
It was oddly silent but then I remembered that dad was working. Until someone burst into the door.
"GOD IT IS GOOD TO BE HOME," my little sister, Juniper, yelled.
I chuckled to myself, Shit. I forgot that my own sister existed.
"Hey little sapling," I said waving to her in the kitchen.
Juniper, or as I call her little sapling, is my younger sister. She has Mom's dark brown hair and it curled at the ends. We shared the same eye color from both Mom and Dad. She's tiny from, well, just being tiny. That was her reason behind the nickname little sapling, and mom gave her that name so I instantly caught on. Juniper is two years younger than me so she just went into high school this year. She was gone because one night after she broke up with her boyfriend she almost killed herself. Dad got so freaked out that he sent her away to help at grandmas house for two months to get her away from this school.
"Walker, you need to put a shirt on now," she said, carrying her suitcase.
"Oh, I will definitely do everything my little sister tells me," I said rolling my eyes.
She pulled her sunglasses down, "Walker, remember I can call Dad about this."
"Oh my god like you haven't seen me topless before," I sat down to make her even madder at me.
"WALKER I-I'M GONNA GO TO MY ROOM AND YOU BETTER NOT DISTURB ME," I heard stomping and a slam of a door.
"Good," I yelled over my shoulder, "Your face is ugly and I don't want to see your face naked either."
I walked over to her room to listen to see if she was there. Then, I walked over to my room to grab a bucket of water. Carefully opening her door I could hear music blaring from her room. She has to come out sometime. Then her bathroom door opened and I splashed cold water on her and ran to my room like I was a five year old.
"WALKER REED," she yelled just as I locked the door, "I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU IN YOUR SLEEP."
"Oh my oh my," I said through laughter, "You can do better than that."
"Fine," my door handle stopped jiggling from her trying to get in, "I'll tell Dad about you going to that party last night and drinking two beers."
I opened the door, "What did you just say?"
"You heard me," She said putting a hand on her hips in her now wet sweatshirt and leggings.
"You wouldn't dare."
"Bet."
"How do you know this?"
"A little bird told me, and that bird's name is Ben."
"Pathetic, that little bird of yours was smokin' something last night just saying."
"Still," she said walking into my room and having the audacity of sitting down on my bed.
"At least I didn't try to kill myself."
"Walker," she said disappointed, "You know I wasn't going to actually do it right?"
