"Dude she didn't invite anyone I asked around," Jason said, taking a sip of his beer.
"Yeah, it's like she wanted to be alone with you," Bret said staring at the video game he was playing.
"OOOOOO romance time!" Ben said also from staring at the video game.
We were at Jason's house hanging out. It was Bret, Ben, Jason, and I all in his basement with some beer bottles Bret and Ben snuck in.
"Well, what can I say she's dated every guy in the school," I said shrugging it off.
"Maybe after you, she will try the whole school!" Jason laughed.
"Who knows but continuing on the subject," I said, "Have any of you guys dated her?"
Ben raised his hand slightly but immediately put it back on the Xbox controller, "She wanted attention twenty-four seven. Always wanted me to hold her. Last year at the dance she wanted me to dance with her and hold her as she did," He shivered, "It was weird trust me. But hey, that was last year she might have changed."
"Besides," Bret said, "Notice at all the other girls staring at you."
"All of them except Ava," Jason said to make his point clear that they were dating.
"Well obviously except Ava," Bret said continuing onto his game with Ben, "Who knows, maybe you should stop flirting with Summer for a day and look around and see all the girls that give you the 'I want you look' in the hallway."
"Walker most of the girls are after you," Jason said as I took a sip of my beer, "Trust me Summer's just a bit crazy after breaking up with Liam."
I choked a bit on my beer but swallowed it, "What?"
Everyone turned, "Dude you didn't see her story on Snap yet? It was posted today"
I got onto my phone and opened Snapchat and looked at her story. I clicked on it and she was in her room talking to the camera."Hey, guys I just wanted to say something. I hung out with a friend last night and I realized what I did was a step forward in my life. I don't love my boyfriend, now my ex, any more and yes, I have already broken up with him in person on Friday. I love someone else and I just can't get him out of my mind. So there you go, the tea is spilled sis so bye," she waved at the camera as her story ended.
I sat there in shock, She just admitted that she liked you on social media. But what if it isn't you? What if it's someone else and you're just a toy to get him to notice her?
"Can I just say something?" I said in astonishment, "I was the person that she hung out with last night."
"Woah," Jason said in astonishment.
"Trust me nothing happened," I reassured them.
"Tell us what you two did," Bret said coming over with Ben.
"All that happened was that we went to that old farmhouse outside of town," I said trying to not give them the wrong impression.
"Listen," Ben said leaning back a bit, "All I'm going to say is that maybe you should take a step back and see if you really wanna date her or not. There's a lot of fish in the sea Walker and you have to be sure about dating her."
"If I was stupid I'd think that you like her Ben," Bret said.
"Well...umm...I mean," Ben blushed a bit.
"Awwww Benny likes Summer," Jason said in a singsong voice.
"Don't worry Ben," I said, patting his shoulder getting up to leave, "I'll let you get to her first."
"Thanks, Walker," Ben said.
"No problem," I replied.
I hope I can keep that promise.
