CHAPTER SEVEN

IVO's POV

"You were great dude." Bati sa akin ni Max na nanuod ng drag race ko. "Thanks." I said as I lend him a can of beer.

Kinuha niya sa akin ang beer na iniabot ko sa kanya at bigla na lang ito tinungga ng hindi man lang huminga.

"Woo! Ang sarap." He said while wiping the drips on his lips.

"Is there a problem?"

Tumingin lang siya sa akin at ngumiti. Pilit na ngiti. "Problema? Wala wala. Walang problema. Bakit naman ako magkakaproblema?"

"Talaga lang ah?" I scowled.

Nakasandal kami sa kotse ko habang nakatingin sa kawalan nang bigla ko siyang narinig na bumuntong hininga.

"Pare, sigurado ka bang wala kang problema?" Pagtatanong ko ulit sa kanya.

Tumingin siya sa akin at napayuko habang napapailing ang ulo. "Hindi ko nga alam kung problema 'to o ano eh." He said, swirling the can a bit.

Napakunot ang noo ko. "What do you mean?"

"It's about Lindsay."

"What about her?" I asked.

Simula nung maging kaibigan namin sina Ford, Victoria, Harvey, Barbara at Duque, si Max at Lindsay na talaga ang naging malapit sa isa't-isa. There was a time when we thought that they were already dating pero masyado lang pala talaga silang malapit sa isa't-isa.

"Actually, it's about us."

I frowned. "Alam mo pare, diretsuhin mo na ako."

He took a deep breath, putting his hand on his neck, slightly massaging it. "We.. we.. had sex."

Nabuga ko ang beer na iniinom ko sa sinabi ni Max at napatingin ako sa kanya nang may pagkagulat.

"Are you serious? Puta pare! Paano nangyari 'yon?"

"Remember the time when we saw her at Krypton? She was very drunk that night so I had no choice but to take her to my place." Sabi niya.

"Pero bakit niyo nagawa 'yon? Diba may boyfriend siya?" I added.

"Hindi ko alam.. hiwalay na siguro sila. She was so devastated up to the point that she begged me to have sex with her. I tried to put myself together man pero lalaki lang ako, I have weaknesses." He said, letting out a deep a sigh. I know how special Lindsay is to him so I couldn't blame him for what he did. Tsaka lalaki rin ako, sino ba naman kami para tumanggi sa biyaya?

"Anong reaksyon ni Lindsay?" I wonder how she looked like. Lindsay is a virgin, I mean was. "She left my place the next morning acting so hysterical. Hindi niya matanggap na ako ang naka-una sa kanya." Pailing-iling niyang sagot.

I took a deep breath before looking back at him and patted him on his shoulders. "Maaayos niyo rin yan pare. Give her some time."

That was the only thing I could say to comfort him. Inubos lang namin ang mga dala kong beer hanggang sa mapagdesisyunan na naming umuwi.

BARBARA's POV

"Okay, I'll be there." I said then hung up. Victoria just called me and asking for an emergency meeting. She said that we need to meet up for she had good news. I packed my things before leaving my studio. I fetched my car and drove it to Victoria's place.

"Anong kalokohan na naman 'to?" Harvey said while playing darts with Duque.

"Sorry guys but I just need to tell you something important." Victoria while taking something out from her drawer and placed it on top of the center table.
