Night Changes

CHAPTER TWELVE

VICTORIA's POV

I've been tossing and turning on the bed for almost an hour already, unsure of how I will spend the day. The boys went out to play basketball while Barbara and Ford went out for a 'friendly date'. Meanwhile, Lindsay was in her room, reading a book and didn't want to be disturbed.

What to do? I'm not used to this. I'm not the kind of person who likes to spend the day by just lying on the bed doing nothing.

Think.. think.. think..

My brain kept on processing when an idea suddenly popped into my mind. I briskly got up from bed and went straight to the bathroom to have a shower.

I scanned my clothes, trying to look for a nice outfit to wear. I need something that would make me look more sexy and attractive even though I am full of that already. I chose the light blue-colored top that slightly showed off my flat belly and a black tight jeans with a pair of black stiletto. I took a quick glance of myself in the mirror then put only light make-up on my face before leaving my room.

I took a deep breath before knocking on the door. I waited for a few seconds before the door finally opened.

"Victoria? Anong ginagawa mo rito?" Ryan asked, suprised. I smiled at him when my attention was suddenly caught by his.. body.

He was half naked, wearing only boxer shorts. God! He has well-structured body just like what I've imagined. My eyes traveled from his face down to his buffed chest then to his oh-so-yummy abs. I felt like my saliva dripped from my mouth as I gaze at his made to perfection physique.

"Hoy!"

Napatigil ako sa ginagawa ko nang marinig ko ang boses niya.

"H-huh?" I said, stuttering

Napabuntong hininga siya. "Sabi ko, anong ginagawa mo rito?" He asked. "I'm here to pay you a visit." I answered

Lalong kumunot ang noo niya sa sinabi ko. "Bakit? Wala naman akong sakit."

I rolled my eyes. "Kailangan bang may sakit ang tao para pwedeng dalawin?" I said. Hindi siya sumagot at nagkibit balikat lang. I took a deep breath and faced him once more. "Can I come in?"

He slightly nodded his head then opened the door wider so I made my way inside. I couldn't help but smile as I enter his apartment once again. The last time was the moment I realized that Ryan was not a bad guy after all.

"Pasensya na kung marumi. Hindi pa kasi ako nakakapaglinis eh." He said

"Ayos lang. Hindi naman ako maarte." I said. He's still half naked in front of me and I couldn't help but to look at his gorgeous body.

"Magbibihis lang ako." No! I'm still enjoying the view. I nodded my head, a little bit disappointed. Pumasok na siya sa kwarto at makalipas ng ilang minuto ay lumabas na rin siya na may suot ng plain white t-shirt.

Pumunta siya sa kusina at tumingin sa akin. "Coffee?"

"The temperature is rising already so I think coffee will not help." I said

He looked at me with confusion. "Just joking. Water na lang." I added, trying to surpress a laugh.

I watched him as he fetch a glass from the cupboard and opened the refrigerator to pour some water into it. He walked towards me and sat on the couch opposite to my direction, placing the glass of water on top of the table.

"Wala ka namang pasabi na dadalaw ka pala." He said then picked up a stick of cigarette from the side table and lit it up.

"Sorry. I want to surprise you." I said with a slight giggle. He casted me a cold and unreadable expression on his face. "Surprise? I'm not fond of surprises, Victoria." Sabi niya sabay buga sa usok ng sigarilyo.
