CHAPTER ELEVEN

IVO's POV

"Where's Victoria? Akala ko ba sinundo mo siya?" Bungad sa akin ni Barbara pagkabalik ko.

"Susunod na raw siya." Sagot ko. "Bakit, may ginagawa ba siya?" Ford asked. Nagkibit balikat lang ako.

Hindi na sila nagtanong pa at hinintay na lang namin si Victoria.

"I'm here!"

Napalingon kaming lahat. We all watched her as she marches her way towards us with the guy she introduced to me.

"Guys, I want all of you to meet Ryan." Pagpapakilala niya nang may malapad na ngiti sa kanyang mukha. I've known her for years but I haven't seen her smile like the way she introduces the Ryan guy to us. It was very highly unlikely.

"Hello Ryan. I'm Lindsay, Victoria's friend."

Nginitian siya ni Ryan pati na rin ang buong tropa. Nang mag-abot ulit ang tingin naming dalawa, nginitian niya ako pero tumango lang ako sa kanya.

We're not close dude so don't fuckin' smile at me.

"Anyway, sasabay pala siya sa atin pabalik sa Beijing." Victoria said.

Napatigil ako at tumingin sa kanya.

"Bakit?" Hindi na napigilan ng bibig ko ang magsalita. Victoria glared at me.

"What do you mean 'bakit' ?" She asked with her one eye brow arched at me.

Nagkibit balikat na lang ako. "Wala. Tara na."

Sumunod na rin sila sa akin at sumakay sa loob ng sasakyan.

VICTORIA's POV

After a long drive, we finally arrived at the hotel kaya bumaba na kaming lahat sa sasakyan.

"Salamat. Sige, una na ako." Ryan said while flashing the handsome smile again and was about to leave but I stopped him.

"Ryan! Wait!"

Napatigil siya sa paglalakad at lumingon ulit sa akin.

"Why don't you join us for dinner? Besides wala ka namang kasama sa apartment mo."

I gazed at him. Waiting for his response. Please... please say yes.

"Wag na. Marami namang kainan sa tabi-tabi." He replied.

I paused for a moment, trying to think for a response that could convince him to join us for dinner. I don't want him to leave just yet.

"I insist. Just stay for dinner, please? It's my way of saying thank you for what you've done for me and it serves as my peace offering as well." I said.

Kumunot ang noo niya. "Peace offering?"

"We had a rough start so maybe we could start all over again and be friends." Sabi ko.

He stared at me for a moment and smiled. "Dinner huh? Sounds great."

I smiled back at him and grabbed his arm then started walking towards the patio where my friends were headed.

"Max! Call for takeouts. Ryan will be joining us for dinner." I shouted. He looked suprised but just nodded at me and clutched his phone from his pocket.

The food has finally arrived after an hour of waiting and we were all sitting around a big table under the umbrella tent.

"So, how did you and Victoria met each other?" Barbara asked.
