Saturday night. Around 9:00

It was a Saturday Night. Shuichi and Rantaro were driving to Kaede and Maki's place. They both agreed to babysit their daughter, Ichika , for the night. Well, more of just a Rantaro agreed. He just forces Shuichi to come along with him since he didn't know that much.

But, the thing was, Shuichi didn't really like children, especially the newborns.. they always annoyed Shuichi. He could never be like Maki and Kaede, having to deal with such sounds

"Come on, Shuichi. You know I'm not a children's person. I need your help.." Rantaro pleaded "I'm not good with children, either. Plus, you know how much I don't like them.." Shuichi said with a sigh. Rantaro went up to Shuichi, laying his head down on the others lap. Looking up into the boys Shiney eyes with his, his face in a sad puppy way "Pleaseee.. I probably you'll have fun.." Rantaro pleaded. Shuichi looked down at him with a frown and a sigh "Fine, but I'm not going near that thing..!" Shuichi groaned. It was enough for Rantaro. The Greenette pulled on Shuichi's hand as they ran out to the car

And this is how they ended up here. They arrived to Kaede's house. A loud baby cry could be heard from the house. Shuichi let out a loud groan as he stepped out of the car with Rantaro

Shuichi could already tell it was gonna be one hell of a night.. As they both entered into the house, they could see both Kaede and Maki both sitting on the couch, with Ichika in their arms. Maki looked up at the two with a glare "Youre late." Maki said, which made Shuichi feel slightly scared "It doesn't matter. You and Kaede can make your way out of here now! Go have fun, me and Shuichi got this." Rantaro said with a smile.

Both girls nodded as they walked out. Complete silence for a second before a loud cry was heard from the child. Shuichi was already stressed and they've only been there for.. only 30 seconds or so! Rantaro went next to the baby, putting her into his arms, trying to calm her down "It's alright, baby, calm down." Rantaro said in a soothing voice, though it didn't really do much

After a couple hours, they baby had finally calm down. Rantaro was drained of energy. But Shuichi really wasn't. He'd fallen asleep a while ago

"Hey, Shuichi. Can you at least go check up on the baby..?" Rantaro said in a tired voice. Shuichi pouted and crossed his arms "But-" "Pleasseee..." Rantaro pouted once again. Shuichi already knew what was coming next. He just got up and went to the baby before Rantaro pulled his 'Sad Puppy Act'

Shuichi looked down at the baby. Ichika was sounds asleep in her crib. The sight of the baby made Shuichi.. Smile..? I'm Ichika really looked adorable and sweet as she slept. The ravenette picked up the child and felt her in his arms. The baby had waken up. She looked up at Shuichi with a small laugh. God, that made Shuichi's heart melt

"Aren't you a little cutie?" Shuichi said with a childish giggle, which also made the baby giggle. Shuichi couldn't help it. The babies presents made Shuichi feel special inside. Shuichi smile one last time as he placed Ichika back into her crib and walked off

He hadn't noticed that Kaede and Maki had already returned home. Rantaro, Kaede, and Maki were all sitting there, talking with each other. Kaede made her attention to Shuichi and smile "Hey, Saihara! How's Ichika doing?" The blonde girl said with a smile "She's.. just fine, actually.." Shuichi said with a nod

"We can't even thank you guys enough! Thanks for taking care of Ichika for us." Kaede said with a warm smile "It's no problem, Kaede. Let's go, Shuichi." Rantaro and Shuichi walked out to the car. Both boys got in and drove off

As they drove, they eventually reached home. They entered into their room and went to rest. The revenette has laid his head down on Rantaro's stomach to rest

But he wasn't really tired. The revenette looked up at Rantaro "Hey, Rantaro.. You know how I've said I don't like children because they were annoying and stuff..?" Shuichi said "Of course I know that. Why?" Rantaro questioned

"I think.. I want a kid now..."
