Your eyes widened and you bit back the tears that threatened to prickle up.

"W-what..?" You said painfully, a sting in the back of your throat.

"I said, slow down. You're talking way to fast."

Al smiled and cocked his head to the side. "What did you think I said?"

Relief washed over you, you exhaled shakily. You lifted your feet and walked over to the human, sitting down next to him on the bed.

"I don't remember what exactly happened.. do you know? Or at least remember? I'm having trouble piecing things together."

Al opened his mouth to say something but you spoke again.

"Alastor told me that you stabbed me. I'm not mad or anything, you must've had a good reason why." You glanced over to the male. "Right?"

Al shifted in his seat, fixing his glasses.

"I-I only remember bits of it.. nothing important anyway." He stated, bitterly. "Nothing you would want to know."

A confused expression crossed your face. Not want to know? You wanted to know everything that happened.

"What're you talking about, Al? I wanna know what happened, and everything that lead up to it." You placed a hand on his shoulder.

Al was silent for a moment, as if thinking something over.

————
"I hate you."
————

The human shrugged off your contact and looked up at you.

"I.. I don't think we should talk anymore. At least for a little bit." Al sighed and looked down. "I don't know if I can trust you, or myself.." he muttered the last part.

Al looked back up to you, his green eyes dull. "You just seem really.."

"Unstable."

Your ear tuffs threatened to flatten on your head.

Unstable? The one thing you never wanted him to call you, never wanted him to think of you. But he did, he called you,

Unstable.

You stood up, feeling suffocated in the room. "I see. Apologies for barging in like this then." You walked silently to Alastor. "I hope to see you in a couple of days, at your party..?"

Al bit his lip, thinking.

He sighed and nodded his head slowly. "Yeah.. I'll see you there.."

You hummed in gratitude and tugged on Alastor's sleeve, signaling for you both to get the hell out of there.

The deer tapped the floor with his microphone once more, smiling at the human.

"Farewell, old friend."

———————

You paced around the lobby, like a mad woman.

Husk, Angel, Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, and Alastor were looking at you like you were some kind of alien. Most of them were worried, while others were amused.

"I-I just don't understand, have I been clingy? To mean? Have I not given him enough attention?" You groaned.

"What all have I done with him? Done to make him the slightest bit upset?" You hummed to yourself.

What all goes in with unstable?

Charlie sweat dropped, a nervous smile coming to her face.

"We told each other everything! And he doesn't want to tell me about this fight?! All I fucking know is that he stabbed me! That's literally it!"

You pointed a finger at the demons that were sitting on the couch, Vaggie and Alastor were standing beside it. "And you fucktards won't tell me anything either!"

Niffty shook her head. "We just don't think it's our place to."

Alastor smiled brightly and lifted his index finger. "I can tell yo-"

"No." Everyone glared at him. Niffty gave him a frown.

You growled and slapped both hands on your face, making your cheeks slightly red. Everyone flinched at your self harm.

"We were so close! Does that not mean shit to him?" At this point you were just rambling, letting the words in your mind flow out of your mouth.

"I told him about my life! Or at least what I remember from it! I shared moments with Al that I haven't shared with anyone else before, not a single soul." You let out a frustrated grunt.

"He told me about his life too!"

Alastor's smile shrunk, his eyes slowly widening. What... did.. he.. tell you..?

"Like how to make jambalaya, and hunt the human way! Sometimes he even talked about his job!" You started to let out raspy breaths.

"THIS MAN EVEN TOLD ME ABOUT HIS SWEET MOTH-" You stopped. All actions.

Who were you to tell others about your relationship with Al? Who were you tell others about Al? About his mother no less.

You were nobody.

Your hand raised and you straightened your suit. Clearing your throat, you raised a gloved hand.

"I need to go..." you struggled to find some words. "Kill something."

You snapped your fingers and just like that.

You were gone.

Niffty jumped up from her spot on the couch and started to clean once again, especially the party room. Charlie and Vaggie went to the kitchen to grab something to eat, but not before Charlie muttered a quick.

"I hope she's okay.."

Angel walked out the hotel doors, probably going to a porn studio.

Husk and Alastor stayed by the couch.

Silence.

"Alastor..?"

The deer growled and turned his head to Husk, narrowing his eyes at the cat. "Did I tell you to speak?" He said darkly.

Husk wanted to be mad but he knew to keep his trap shut. "N-no sir." The penalty would be horrid if anyone spoke freely to him in his current state, and Husk wasn't dumb.

Alastor turned to the stairs, wanting to barge into the humans room and have a discussion with Al.

Instead, the male took a deep breath, sucking air in through his strained smile.

His microphone tapped the floor twice and he teleported to his radio station. Music always calmed him down, he hoped it worked for something like this.

The anxiety that nibbled at him was unbearable, and the yearn for answers was and has always been a pain with you.

Alastor's thin fingers flicked on his music box, placing a disc on the rotating surface.

Smooth jazz music began to play, yet it wasn't enough to calm the nerves of The Radio Demon.
