Sharing a Flat with Benedict.

Lunch with Ben and Job offer. Chapter 5

Benedict and Sable sat across from each other at a small cafe not far from the set. Her smile hadnt left her lips since that wonderful kiss he had given her in the car. Sable knew she was falling for Ben but she didnt want to have her heart broken. He is a big time celebrity and she is a little no body from a small town in Texas that no one knows anything about. She faultered in her smile and Ben gave her a confused look while sipping his ice water. " You alright love?" he asked as he slid his hand over her's.

She gave a small nod and brought her smile back to life. " Nothing important" she said as the waitress came to there table. " Hello my name is Nina and ill be your server today" she said with a soft smile. She didnt give Ben lustful looks, she treated him like he was just an normal Joe. Ben was sorta liking this, being treated like a normal person did have its perks. No one would bother you during dinner with wanting you to sign autograhps but he loves his job and nothing would changes his mind.

"Yes, ill have the shrimp scampi with garlic bread on the side with just the water nothing else" Ben said as he folded the menu and handed back to Nina who had joted down his order. " And you miss?" Sable's eyes scanned over the menu and just chuckled. " I have lived in London for the past three months and never had fish and chips, so ill go with that and a glass of sweet tea." Sable said as she passed the menu back to Nina.

" Very good choice miss, ill have you sweet tea out in a moment followed by your meals." Once alone, Ben gave her a look , " You havent had fish and chips yet? My goodness if I had known, I would have taken you to this little hole in the wall place that is delicious." Sable just laughed, " Ah but I'm having it now so, you might just have to take me to that little spot in the wall on our next date" she said with a slight blush on her cheeks.

Benedict's smile widen, " With out a doubt love, there will be many dates after this one." Sable laced her fingers with Ben's and smiled. Nothing needed to be said at that moment. An understanding was made at that little cafe, Ben and Sable were now a item and the both of them couldnt be more happy about it.

Lunch was brought out and they began to eat, Sable talked about what Jasper had said about her father and her mother was going nuts looking for her. Sable munched on her fish and reached for the ketcup on the table. Ben looked at her funny. " What?" she asked while opening the top of the bottle. " You need vinegar and salt with it" Ben said as he reached over and pulled the bottle of vinager out. Sable give him a look that just screamed out, "What the hell?!" She grabbed the bottle from Ben and gave it a try. The taste of the fish and vinegar, it was strange but it was the way people here in London ate it so she had to at least eat the fish and chips the proper way.

Benedict just laughed at her face as she continued eating her meal. " You dont have to eat it with the vingar if you dont like it love" he said as she quickly grabbed the bottle of ketchup and made a small puddle on her plate. " I'm sorry your mother isnt letting up on finding you" he added and he swirled his fork around in his shrimp scampi. " She knows I have money and that's what she wants. She may have given birth to me but I can never really call her my mother.

My mother is walking on sunshine with my grandpa" Sable said as she wiped a small tear from her eye and put her smile back on. Benedict frowned and placed his fork down and graped her hand. " Its okay to cry love. You were hurt by the people who where suppose to protect you. Unfortunetly, it happens more than we care to believe. You were blessed to have such a wonderful grandmother in your life, I wish I could have met her. She sounds like she was a wonderful woman."

A watery smile spread across Sable's face and she whispered, " Thank you for that Ben, I think she would have liked you as well, she did have a thing for the British boys" Sable said as Ben laughed, "You dont say? Might I ask who would have been her ideal man besides your grandfather?" Sable licked her lips while laughing, " Sean Conery was her heart throb when he was still 007." Ben chuckled, "Sounds about right, he was a looker in his younger years." The continued to eat and chat away until the bill came. Sable pulled out her card but Ben beat her to it.

" Hey now, dont spoil me Ben, I will pay on some dates" she said as he looked at her with a calm stillness. " We shall see about that" he said with a deep voice that sounded like Khan. Sable's body shivered at that voice, it sent pleasure through her whole body. With a red face, Ben knew what was going on and saved that image in his head, he would so have to use his Khan voice on her often.

" I just hope that The blackstone pub still wants me to play, not a lot of pubs are intrested in a one woman show" Sable said as Nina came back with Ben's card. " Er, uhm. I know that this sounds so werid and I didnt mean to ease drop but my band is actully looking for a fourth member" Nina said as she figeted around nervously.

Sable's face lit up. " Really?! What are you looking for, I play guitar."
 Nina squeeled, " YES! Please tell me you are free this Saturday?! I would love to hear you play maybe even meet my band?" she asked happily as Sable looked at Ben for comformation. " She is free that afternoon. You can give us the address to where you wish us to meet you at and she will show you how great she is" he said as Sable could have just died right there in the cafe.

"Wonderful! Here is my mobile and my address! See you Saturday Miss?" "Sable" "See you then!" Nina said as she giddily walked back into the kitchen. " Your praise was sweet Ben but I think you laid it on too thick" she said as Ben stood and helped her out of her chair.

" No, I think I hit the nail on the head" he said as he placed a hand on her lower back as they walked out to his car. " You will do wonderfully love and Ill be there cheering you on as you make your way to the top of the music charts." He pulled her in agian for a kiss and Sable wrapped her arms around his neck, so deep into there sweet kiss they didnt see three people aiming caremas at them and snapping as many photos they could of this happy momnet between the couple.

( I was thinking of a perfect song for Sable, she is dating Benedict and now has a possible shot  of playing in a band. This song popped up in my head and I just laughed. I would be singing this song as well if this was happening to me. Congrats to Ben and Sophie! They are so cute together!!)
