Sharing a Flat with Benedict.

Merry Christmas and the secret present, Chapter 16

Thanksgiving came and went for Sable and her tight nit of friends and her sweet boyfriend Benedict.

Today is December 12th and her belly has grown to the shape of a  small beach ball. Sable was on her fifth month of preagnacy. Ben had been helping around the flat when he was home and being such a sweetheart when she needed a strange craving snacks. When Ben was away filming Matt, Jasper, Tom and Nina were always there to help and keep her company.

Sable sat on the couch with her head on Jasper shoulder watching some Christmas cartoons when there was a knock at the door.

 Sable went to sit up but was stopped by Jasper who shook his head, " You need rest and to be off your feet Benny Boy would kill me if I didnt follow his rules" he said as he made his way to the door. " I am preagnat, not broken!" She yelled as Jasper answered the door. All Jasper saw was a very large pine tree in his face, " The forest has come to say hello Sable" Jasper said as you rolled your eyes. " Did you find a good one in this lot love ?" she asked as Matt and Ben brought the tree into the living room. " I think so Sable. Took a bit but Matt spotted this one and I jumped on it, litterliy" Ben said as he ducted some pine needles off his coat.

" You jumped the tree Ben?" she asked with a quriked eye brow. He chuckled and took a seat next to her. " Not my proudest moment but I got the tree you us. Hows my little one doing?" he asked as he placed his hand on her round belly. She smiled as Ben bent his head and placed a sweet kiss on her belly.

" Alright love birds, we need to get this tree decorated before the party gets started" Matt said as he pulled the strings that held the tree closed and let the pine tree branch out, showing just how tall and full it really was.

" You guys did a wonderful job!" she gushed as she forced herself off the couch. " Sweetie you need to rest, you cant be on your feet to long. Doctor's orders" Ben said. After Nina and Tom's wedding, Sable had became very light headed and was rushed to the emergancy room. The doctor told her and Ben that she need to stay off her feet and rest most of the day. Ben is a BIG enforcer of that rule...

" I am just getting up for the decorations Ben, ill sit right back down when I get them I promise" Sable said as she made her way to the closet. Jasper and Sable bought a ubancence of different deor at the store while the men went out for the tree.

Once she was out of the room, Ben reached into his pocket. " You find there right one?" Jasper asked as he clapped his hands silently. Ben nodded happily and showed the ring to Jasper and Matt.

A stunning princess cut dimond laid nessled in a lining of silk. " Oh Ben! She'll love it!" Jasper gushed. " She'll love what?" Sable asked as she entered the room with a few bags in her arms. Ben hid the ring back into his pocket, " You love meeting my parents," Ben said trying to cover up his tracks.

" Oh, Well I am very happy to be meeting them" Sable said as she carefully sat back onto the couch and let out a breath. " He/She feels like there under my lungs" she said as she made her self more comfortable on the couch. " I told you so love" Ben said as he opened the bag. " You better keep that coment to yourself Ben or you just might find yourself on this couch tonight" she warned and he chuckled.

" Yes Dear"

The party was in full swing! A wonderful dinner prepared by Sable, with a lot of help from Jasper. Amanda hugged Sable close and placed her head on Sable's belly on to recive a slight kick to the face. " Oh My Goodness! Soon to be sports player" she said as everyone made there way to the living room for passing out gifts Sable bought Jasper and Matt a new bed set for the new apartment that was three blocks down from her own home with Ben.For Nina and Tom she gave them two tickets to Aruba for there Honey moon that they didnt get to go on since Tom had to leave for a film.

" You two didnt need to do that!" Tom said wiping a tear from his eye. Nina rushed over to Sable and hugged her tightly. " Thank you so much Sable," she turned to Ben and gave his a hug as well, " Thanky ou as well Ben!"

Amanda and Martin recived a few gifts as well. Sable looked at Jasper who nodded his head in understanding and rushed up stairs to get the two presents that Sable managed to hid from Ben.

" What's going on love?" Ben asked as Sable smiled at him. " I have a gift for both you and your parents that I know you'll both love"

Jasper came down the stairs with a smile on his face as he handed Sable the two gift bags. " Everyone? Can I have your attention?" she asked as everyone in the room looked at her. Sable handed Ben a bag and the proceeded to hand out the other to his mother. Once Sable sat down she smiled, " Go ahead and open it."

Ben and his mother opened the bag to see two picture frames in each bag. Ben pulled both frames out and gasped. One photo said "Hi daddy, I am a boy! and the other said Hi daddy I am a girl" Ben's mother shouted out in joy! She rushed over to hug Sable. " I am having twins, a baby boy and a baby girl" Sable said as the whole room cheered with congradulations!

 Ben brought Sable into a very passionte kiss and placed his hands on her belly. " Hello my little ones!" he said happily as a few tears escaped his eyes. " Oh darling! You have made me the happiest man alive!" Ben said as he kissed her agian. " Only one thing could make this even better" he said as he scooted off the couch and got down on one knee and pulled out a stunning ring.

Sable covered her mouth and cried a bit. Her smile was blazing white!

" From the first day I met you I knew something wonderful would happen with us. I love you more than I could possibly say, Ill protect you and our childeren for the rest of my days. Sable Blackwater? Will you marry me?"

Sable cried and pulled Ben into a tight hug, " Yes! A thosand times yes!"

The room erupted into cheers as Ben kissed Sable with so much passion that it made her knees slightly weak but he held her up showing the world that this woman was his till the end of time.
