Tatum and Jane spent the rest of the day together. They went shopping together, something that neither of them enjoyed, but that needed to be done. Tatum got new shoes for the upcoming season of fall and Jane bought some makeup products she had ran out of. Despite them both finding shopping stressful and boring, they had so much fun together. They sneaked into a dressing room together and tried on fancy dresses. Jane got Tatum one of them, a beautiful emerald green off shoulder dress, as a gift which she had to spend an hour talking Tatum into accepting.

They had lunch at a fast food restaurant, just because they could, and shared a chocolate milkshake, which was both their favourite. The whole time they talked they laughed. Tatum felt like she had never had so much fun, and she felt blessed to be in the presence of Jane on this sunny day. After many hours on the town looking in random boutiques, Jane drove them both to her apartment to rest for a bit.

Tatum instantly felt at home when they got there. She looked at the large, expensive looking couch and then at Jane, who just smiled and nodded her head. Tatum ran up to the couch and collapsed on it, dropping her bags all over the floor. "I'm exhausted!" Her muffled voice was heard, her face buried in the fabric of the couch. Jane laughed. "I know baby, I promise we're going to relax for a while." Tatum sat up, a surprised but delighted look on her face. "Did you just call me baby?" Jane blushed. "Can I do that?" She said carefully.

"I love it!" Tatum was so happy and it was obvious she was head over heels with Jane. Everything about her made her day. She was funny, intriguing, smart and she loved hearing her talk about just about anything. But especially what she was passionate about. "I have an idea." "Go ahead." "Since we're both law geeks, why don't we relax by looking at some cases together?" Jane smiled at Tatum's words. "You're a genius!" So they spent some time looking at cold cases, some new ones, and doing research.

The evening was getting closer but they were only becoming less tired. They were gaining energy from being together, which was amazing considering it was usually the other way around for Tatum. Jane was sitting on her couch and Tatum was lying with her head on her lover's lap. Jane was patting her head softly whilst reading. Suddenly she stopped, and Tatum sat up and looked at her. She looked beautiful in the afternoon light coming in from the floor to ceiling windows in her apartment. "You know, I still have plans for tonight." Jane smiled, and there was something sneaky in her eyes. "And what might those be?" Tatum leaned her head on her hand, her elbow on the edge of the couch, looking into Jane's eyes with lust in her own. "Dinner." Jane said with a grin. "Oh." Tatum let out and they both laughed hysterically.

Once again they were in Jane's car, drivning towards a lovely evening. Tatum looked out the window and saw the city flashing by, this time they were going deeper into it. At least that's what Tatum thought, until they started heading towards the other side of the city, soon they were in the outskirts. Jane's car stopped and they both stepped out. In front of them was a beautiful, cozy-looking Italian restaurant. You could tell it was Italian based on literally every aspect of the building, the surroundings, the people...if you had ever been to Italy you would just know.

Tatum was shocked, she felt like she had been magically transported to a different country. It felt just like the last time she was there, with her family. It felt like home. Except this time she had a beautiful woman next to her... She reached to take Jane's hand and they looked up at the building. Jane seemed to have the same experience as Tatum. "I wanted to take you on a vacation but I felt it might be a little much for the first date." Tatum laughed. "So I thought this was second best." Jane seemed a bit nervous but Tatum knew she had nothing to be nervous about. Jane had her at hello. "It's perfect." Tatum said and looked her lovingly in the eyes. They both got lost in each other's eyes for a bit until a waitor with an Italian accent greeted them. "Table for two, yes?"

The restaurant turned out to be a fancy one. They dined, laughed and marveled at the spectacular view, but most of all they enjoyed each other's company. Tatum got to hear all of Jane's success story, and she found it really inspiring. When they finnished eating and paid the bill, Jane gave them extra tips to be able to hang around the restaurant for a bit longer. They stepped out onto a balcony looking over a lake cornered by majestic green hills. The sun was slowly setting, givning an incredible warm light to the moment. Tatum leaned with her hands on the cold iron railing as she watched the wind play with Jane's hair.

Jane was standing with her head high, looking out over the landscapes with an expressionless look on her face. The sun turned her eyes a beautiful warm brown, they were shimmering like stars. She seemed bothered by nothing, mind blank, completely at ease. She looked happy, content, and she was amazingly beautiful. Tatum felt blessed to be around such beauty. She would be happy every day of her life if she as much as caught a glimpse of her being. Jane turned her head and looked back at her. Tatum smiled, Jane smiled, her entire face lit up.

Tatum stood up straight. She was shorter than Jane, but not to the point where she looked down on her. Instead they looked directly at each other, which was perfect. Tatum allowed her mind to be filled with nothing but this woman, she became her whole world. That's exactly what it felt like in that moment. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Jane sounded slightly nervous, Tatum knew that meant she was more nervous than she was letting on. Tatum didn't want Jane to feel that way around her, she wanted to show her how much she meant to her. Tatum sealed the space between them, their forheads against each other, their arms holding the other's, and she said "Yes. And you don't need to have a single doubt." She looked up into Janes beautiful eyes. "I'm yours." Two simple words was all it took. Jane was relaxed, confident and filled with lust. "I'm so lucky." Jane said, and they kissed.
