Lab 421~on hiatus~

Time flies

   I was awoken by Vlad giving me a gentle shake on the shoulder.
"Vise and shine Liebling" he smiled softly and set a tray of breakfast beside me. "Ve juzt have zome injections and such today. Zen zou can go to ze rec-room!" I have a sleepy nod and sat up, last time I was in the rec-room I was asleep for a few hours. But I also had friends there, what a wild concept. I began to eat as fast as I could without making myself sick. Vlad laughed a bit and handed me a bag that was small but surprisingly heavy. I tilted my head quizzically at him, part of me was too afraid to even open it up.
"What is it?"
"Toiletries." He smiled and made his way to the door. "I had zome other stuff delivered for you. Juzt come to me vhen zou need zem." He tossed a new hospital gown on the bed and walked out. I sighed and looked around the room, it wasn't nearly as bright as Vlad's office but at least I had some form of privacy. I gingerly opened up the cloth bag and poured out the contents. It has a toothbrush, toothpaste, small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, a small brush, bar soap, and even a few hair pins and elastics. I raised an eyebrow and inspected everything, by the looks of it Vlad made sure that everything was perfectly safe to be ingested, save for the toothbrush and elastics. But I was grateful anyway, I finished eating and changed into the new clothes he brought me. If there's one thing Vlad cares about it was that I was taken care of, which seemed...odd. I grabbed the toiletries and made my way to the bathroom. I arranged everything in the shower, it wasn't much but it was nice to have control over something. I brushed my teeth and quickly threw my hair and threw it up into a ponytail before going back to the main lab where Vlad was waiting.

   He smiled and patted the chair I was oh-so-used to.
"Have a seat Liebling." He held up a handful of syringes. I cringed and reluctantly sat down.
"Do I have tooooo?" I whined. He chuckled and handed me a water bottle as he started to do take vitals.
"Vhy am I not surprized? A month and a half and zou still vhine." He smiled and jotted some notes down. I frowned, that didn't seem right. I've been here for a month and a half?!
"What? A month?" I pulled away for him a bit. He nodded and didn't even look up at me.
"Mhm, time fliez" He smiled and sat in his wheeled stool as he held up the syringes. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
"Noooooooooooo" I frowned and pulled away from him. He chuckled and held my arm.
"Calm down Liebling, remember zat after Zis zou can go to ze rec-room vith felix." He assured me and injected the first syringe and scribbled something on his notepad. "Vhat do zou vink about Felix?" I tilted my head and cursed as he injected me again.
"Why are you so curious?"
"Hiz patron and I are cloze, ve like to keep an eye out for one another" he kept working on injections as he spoke. I sighed and thought, it was definitely a question I hadn't thought about.
"Well...I mean he's nice, he's pretty much the only other person I've talked to...." I was cut off by a knock at the door. Vlad beamed and put a band-aid over the last pinprick beaver getting up and opening the door.
"Felix!! Pleaze pleaze come in!"

I stood up and raised an eyebrow. Vlad smiled and lead in felix by the wrist.
"Krista, felix vill be accompanying zou!" He smiles and patted Felix's back. "I can't let my little Krista get avay" he chuckled and patted my shoulder "have fun zou two!" Felix nodded and smiled politely.
"Thank you sir" he gently took my arm and lead me out. I zoned out looking up at him as we walked out. Felix was actually quite attractive, even when it's obvious he didn't get much sleep at all.
"Krista? Are you alright?"
"Whaaa....oh! Yeah! I'm just fine" I gave a little nervous laugh. "Just has a stressful day yesterday." He nodded and smiled a bit.
"Yeah. I know what that feels like" he smiled at me, bags hanging low under his eyes. His arms and legs were wrapped in bandages, and small injection points were dotted along his jawline. I sighed and looked down, the cold concrete floors making me shiver and cling closer to Felix. He sighed sadly and glances over at me. "So? How was your first month?" I rolled my eyes and scoffed a little bit.
"I hated it."
"Yeah, the first year is the hardest. You gotta get used to how time seems to go so fast but so slow at the same time." He laughed a little bit "it's not very pleasant" I nodded in agreement and sighed. "Yeah, it's boring as hell." Felix nodded and tucked some of his hair behind his ear. A small green dot was tattooed on his earlobe. I frowned a bit. "H-hey Felix?"
"Hm?"
"What does that dot mean?" I pointed to my own earlobe so he knew what I was talking about. He frowned a bit and looked at the ground as we walked, his face darkening.
"I-it's how I came here. All subjects have one." He sighed and looks at me. "According to yours you were abducted." I frowned and subconsciously tightened my grip on Felix's arm. That didn't make me feel better at all. Felix gently patting my hand broke me out of my thoughts.
"I know it's bad, but trust me, it's a lot better than others." He sighed and gestured to his own dot. "I was sold"
