For some odd reason, I knew Travis was lying. Jordynn would have never done a thing to disrespect me. After she left though, I didn't know what to think.
I called her three times and texted her ten times. Still no response. I went to the store, and she wasn't there. I drove to her apartment and knocked on the door. When she didn't answer, I used the key to let myself in the house.
"Jordynn!" I yelled. But silence was my answer. "Jordynn!"
"Why in the hell are you even here? And give me my fucking keys back!"
"You better watch your mouth, Jordynn." I told her. "You need to stop all this madness."
"Why would you take his word over mine? Channing, I didn't do anything, but seduce him so he could untie me! I didn't set anything up!"
"Jordynn--" I started.
"Love," she cried interrupting me. Love was her safe word.
"Stop, baby," I said. "Look at me, Jordynn."
She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Why, Channing? Travis lied to you. In the twenty-five plus years I've been with you, I have never done anything to disrespect you. I'm your fiancée. Did you really think I would start now? My loyalty is with you, Channing. Where does your loyalty lie?"
"Honey Bee, if you had just waited, I would have said something. I knew Travis was lying. Baby, I'm not stupid. And my loyalty lies with you, baby."
"Does it really because last I checked, I ruined your relationship with Malaysia."
"Can we sit down please?" I asked her.
She led me to the couch. I really wanted to take her to the room and make love to her. She got that apartment for times like these. When she just wanted to get away and clear her head, she would have a place to go. I didn't mind because I trusted her. I knew she wouldn't do anything to hurt me.
When she brought up me saying that she ruined my relationship with Malaysia, it bothered me. I did say that about her, but it wasn't true. I know she probably hated me right now, but I just needed more information out of Travis.
"Jordynn, listen to me. Travis is a manipulator. But what he can't do is manipulate me. Travis will say anything to make sure he stays on my good side because he knows that I have a lot of dirt on him. Travis has wanted you since the day I introduced you to him. Yes, I knew about that, but what I knew more than that was the fact that you werent gone do anything with him. But I didn't know you would run out on me. How can I marry you if you run away every time things get heated?"
"And how can I marry you if you believe everything that is said about me? Pretending or not, Channing, you should always believe in me. You know I'm not that type of girl."
"Jordynn, you walked out on me."
"And you didn't follow or try to stop me. Maybe this is a bad idea. Maybe we shouldn't try to be more than friends."
I knew eventually she would stop believing in our love. I couldn't lose her. Not again. "Jordynn," I said getting on my knees in front of her. "Baby, I love you, and I'm so sorry. I don't wanna lose you. You are the one and only girl in my life that can put up with all my craziness. Honey Bee, I know I was wrong. I should have said something to Travis and not let him think I was on his side. Please say that you still wanna be my wife because I know I still wanna be your husband."
If she walked away that was it for me. I would no longer have my best friend; the air that I breathe; my soul; my lover; my everything.
"As hurt as I am right now, I can't deny the fact that I'll hurt more without you. Channing, you are my everything, and losing you would be like losing my soul. Come sit by me."
I joined her on the couch, but she got on her knees in front of me. She bowed before me and with her head held low, she said, "Master, I am sorry. I'm sorry because I deceived you. I should have spoken with you before my meeting with Travis. If you will have me, I would love to be your wife."
"Of course, I'll have you, Honey Bee. Now, let's go play," I told her.
She grabbed her phone and purse and we headed out to our home. Once we got home, we went upstairs to the attic. The attic? Yes, the attic. Because we hope to have kids one day, instead of using our basement as our playroom, we turned the attic into our playroom.
"Go get undress," I told her.
"Yes, Sir", she said and quickly went to the dressing room.
Then the mood changed because my phone rung, and it was Malaysia. "Hello?" I answered.
"Hey, baby, can you talk?"
"Number one, I'm not your baby. And number two, no, I can't talk. Jordynn and I are busy. What do you want?"
"You're still with Jordynn? Travis told me what happened. Just come see me. I'm sure we can work this out."
"I dont want you, Malaysia. Yes, I'm still with Jordynn. She's gonna be my wife. I'll appreciate it if you don't call my phone again." I told her and hung up before she could say anything.
I called out for Jordynn and she stood before me naked and her hair pulled into a ponytail.
"Yes, Sir," she said with her head held low.
She looked very delicious, but we hand business to tend to. "Get dress, Honey Bee. We gotta go handle some business."
She looked up at me and shook her head. "Travis and Malaysia?" she asked.
"Yeah, so let's go. Wear something nice." I turned to leave, but stopped. "Hey, as a matter of fact, you have a gift hanging in the closet. Go put it on."
A few days ago, Mama and I were out shopping and she saw some pink and black Red Bottoms for Jordynn. She said to me, Jordynn would love these, Channing. So, I bought them. I also bought her this sexy Polo shirt that said QUEEN BEE and a cute form fitting pair of jeans. I dont really shop for her, but when I do, I take Mama with me. She knows what Jordynn likes.
