Hey, I'm Sylvester.  This is a story about my friends and I decided to write their love story from my perspective. I've never done anything like this before so I hope to meet your expectations.
Sylvester .

   Louis flynn
"Louis, could you please stop with the smoking already!" Ray muttered in disgust.
"Okay bro, but so you know this was my first one for the day.

Louis said as he stepped on the already finished up cigarette.
Louis Flynn was the typical bad guy you'd see in movies or read in novels. He had that James Dean kinda a look but with a twist. His hand was mapped with countless tattoos and his dreadlocks which weren't that long made him badder than he was already. He somehow maintained a white set of teeth despite the his love for cigarettes. He had tiny earrings on both his ears and one on his nose. He was in his sophomore year in college which was doing him no good. Louis was in love with only one thing... well several but music was something that was in his bad blood. It was one thing that everyone who knew him knew he couldn't live without. He was the lead singer and guitarist of his band which he had created at the age of 16. 3 years later it was very popular within the town getting to perform in almost every event.

The Southsiders as they had named themselves comprised of five; Ray who was Louis' childhood and best friend,Owen, Carlos, Dwight and Louis himself. All of them were talented. They all attended the same college after meeting when they were both in high school. Ray was mostly concerned with songwriting, Owen and Carlos played the played the drums and percussions while Dwight dealt with the keyboard. They were perfect. It was in their blood and to them they were a family. They had a special bond that connected though different music made them feel they were the same.

"Bro, what's the name of the chic you banged on Saturday? " Dwight asked Louis teasingly knowing very well he couldn't remember her face let alone the name.
"You're an asshole Dwizzy! Leave me alone " Louis answered as he sneered at him.
" Better being an asshole than a fuckboy" added Carlos answered back trying to make fun of Louis who's behaviour wasn't a surprise to anyone
" Could you guys stop it!" We've got a gig in 2 hours and the best you can think of is fucking??"
The statement from Owen made everyone focus. He was the most serious one and the oldest a 22. He was the group's fatherly figure despite not being the leader. It won't be long before they both started making fun of each other. Either way, they'd still give the best performance ever. It was just thinking their thing.

                  Laurel Pratt
Laurel couldn't believe that was her life. She was 17 young, beautiful and intelligent. Despite giving her best on most things, nothing ever happened her way. Right now,she felt like her life was crumbling down. No amount of Taylor Swift's songs could make her get over that breakup. It was her longest running relationship and in her mind, Ken was her endgame. She had invested her whole being in this relationship only to be dumped by a phone call. Things were quite rough between her and Ken but somehow she knew they'd both work things out. Ken seemed to have fallen out of love and despite giving her all, nothing could make Laurel revive the relationship.

" 27 seconds, really! Ken is a bastard. I swear to God I'll grind his balls, make meatballs and feed them to him the next time I meet him!" That was Anna, Laurel's best friend.
Laurel tried smiling but his face just couldn't. It was death by a thousand cuts to her. She knew breakups existed but she never imagined that she'd experience one such like that. To make it worse, through a phone call. Laurel and Anna had been friends since 3rd grade. She was 5'7 slightly taller than Laurel. She was like her protector considering Laurel's shy and quiet persona. Despire their different personas and beliefs they both loved each other dearly
"I've got an idea!" Anna said as she pulled the worn out Laurel from her bed. " Let's go party and forget all this. Maybe you can meet someone new. "
" No way on earth... I'm done with everything and everyone Ann. Let me be! " Laurel said as she dragged herself back to bed
Anna wasn't giving up anytime soon. She knew that she had to do something to make her friend happy even if it would be temporarily.
" I'm picking out your outfit, if you won't do this for yourself do it for me at least." Said Anna as she threw her a crop top and a pair of ripped jeans.
" Ok." Said Laurel as she tried to draw a smile on her face. She couldn't say no to Anna. They'd both been through alot and the last thing she'd want was to make her sad even though she knew very well it was her Anna was trying to make happy.
" That's my girl! " Anna shouted. They both took a shower and changed to their party outfits.  Anna was determine to make Laurel happy no matter what. Well, that's what friends are for. They were both officially single and having fun was the the blueprint for the night.
They both headed out not knowing what the night had in store for them.
Special performance: The Southsiders
Anna read as they entered the bar. It wasn't full yet. Lucky for them they got the perfect space as Anna ordered for martinis for both of them. In her mind Laurel was praying for a calmer Anna and in Anna's mind she wanted to party like it was 4th of July.
The night was still young. Let's see what it had in store for both of them. Especially Laurel
