~part 10~

                                 -Millie's POV-

"Me too," I grin. Last night, I saw Jack looked pretty pissed when Noah kissed y/n and that got me an idea. I woke him up and took him in another room so the others wouldn't wake up. I asked him if he liked y/n and he obviously said yes. I told him I liked Noah and that I wanted to come up with a deal that would benefit the both of us. I get Noah, he gets y/n, and we keep them separated from each other.

To be honest, I don't care how y/n would feel about this. She thinks she can just walk in right into our friend group and steal Noah away from me. Well that bitch better think again. I'm only pretending to be nice to her so Noah thinks even more of me than I already am. I am quite surprised how Jack got y/n to date him so fast so I ask him about it.

"How'd you get y/n to agree to date you so fast?" I ask him hoping to get tips to ask Noah.

"In all honesty," he pauses for a second and takes a deep breath, "we are actually not really together. We are pretending to be together."

"What! Why would you do that?" I ask him.

"Remember when y/n and I came back from the store and Noah asked us if we were dating?"

"Yeah, I remember. That was like 30 minutes ago," I laugh.

"Ok well, I said yes even though we were not pretending to date or dating at the time."

"Oh so you guys agreed to pretend because the rest of the cast and I now knew?" I clarify.

"Yep, exactly."

"I should probably go in there now and check in on him," I say.

"I?" he asks.

"It's a best friend thing and also so we get further into the plan," I smile.

                                 -Y/n's POV-

"They've been gone a while, don't you think?" I ask referring to Millie and Jack. Startling all of us, Jack comes down the stairs, takes his seat next to me, and starts eating his food as if nothing happened.

"So how'd it go?" Caleb asks setting down his glass of orange juice.

"Millie said it was a quote on quote best friend thing so I never talked to him," Jack says doing the quotation thing with his fingers.

"Then why were you up there for like 10 minutes?" Finn asks raising an eyebrow.

"U- um I w- was going to the b- bathroom," Jack lies as a deep pink color fills his face. Jack stuttering? I don't believe him for a second. Even though I have not even known him for a day, I could still tell when he was lying. Something is going on that I am not aware of and I am going to find out what that is.

                                 -Noah's POV-

I try my hardest to not eavesdrop on the rest of the conversation going on between the two people but, I eventually give in. All I heard is that they want to separate y/n and I. I have no clue why they want to do that and I instantly regret not listening in on the whole interaction. I don't know who they are but I took note in what their socks look like. I hear footsteps travel down the stairs and suddenly a door swinging open. I watch Millie march inside the room and sit down by me.

"Is everything alright?" she asks me through her heavy accent.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I say sniffling. I wipe my face so, she won't notice any of the tears I cried out.

"Ok, well breakfast is ready," she smiles and put her arm around me. I shrug it off and head to the kitchen ready to eat. I sit in between Finn and Sadie. I fill my plate full of fresh fruit and fluffy pancakes but I can't help but notice everyone staring at me. I do get why though. I just stormed off after Jack announced him and y/n are dating. I just ignore them and look down at the floor to avoid eye contact when I notice everyone's socks. I now know who was in the deal.
