-Caleb's POV-

I reached above to grab the 3 boxes that were stacked on top of one another that contained the air mattresses inside. I opened the boxes and placed each of the mattresses along side of each other making sure to leave some space in between.

I left the air pump on, blowing the mattresses up as I walked upstairs to my bedroom to grab my mattress on my bed for me to sleep on tonight.

I sat down my mattress next to one of the air mattresses and crouched down next to one of them. I unplugged the air pump and secured the opening so the air was trapped inside. I then did this for the other two. I grabbed the pillows and blankets I had grabbed and placed them on the mattresses, two pillows on each mattress for two different people.

I was adjusting one of the blankets over the corner of the mattress when I heard the faint sound of the doorbell go off. I rushed upstairs, not wanting the person to stand outside for too long. When I opened the door, it revealed Noah holding a duffel bag that looked like it was stuffed to the max.

"Hey Noah, come on in," I opened the door further and moved over so he could enter.

Noah immediately rushed to a table and started unzipping his bag, not saying a word.

"I brought 3 audio recording devices. We have to hurry to set them up though. The others could arrive at any moment."

(Here's what I am talking about, in case you don't know)

"Where do you think we should set them?" I asked trying to think like Millie and Jack

"Where do you think we should set them?" I asked trying to think like Millie and Jack.

"Last time they talked in front of my bedroom door so maybe we should set one in your bedroom," Noah suggested.

"Yeah that makes sense," I picked the other two devices up that Noah was not carrying and carefully brought them up the stairs to my bedroom.

Noah gently placed the device he was holding behind some books that were on my bookshelf.

"I think we should set one up in the basement, where we will be sleeping. They might wake up in the middle of the night and talk," I advised.

"So true, you know Jack always pulling an all nighter even if he is alone," Noah says and we instantly laugh as we start to walk down the stairs that lead to the basement.

Suddenly, I feel a weight being lifted off of my arms and my huge laughter fit automatically stops. I look down and realize my arm must have gave out when I was laughing because one of the devices was laying face down on the stairs.
