-Noah's POV-

Why? Is the only question that came to my mind at that very moment. Millie has been my best friend for as long as I can remember and now she wants to take y/n away from me. There has to be an explanation for that.

Don't even get me started on Mr. Jackass. I've always really kept my feeling neutral with him. I feel he never really is there for anyone in this group, besides Finn. To be honest, he shouldn't even be apart of this group, Finn is the only one who doesn't mind him and I guess now y/n. I can't even come up with any reason why Millie and Jack out of all people would want to separate y/n and I. It's not like we're even together to begin with, not saying that I wouldn't mind to have her to myself though.

At this moment, I was absolutely brain dead. There had to be a reason. The only thing I could come up with is that Jack wanted y/n for himself because they were dating so, he wanted me out of the picture. That still doesn't explain why Millie would want to separate us. I know what I will do, I'll confront one of them. The question is who. It will probably be easier to face Jack, since I already don't really like him anyway and Millie is my best friend so I don't think I could pressure her into telling me anything without feeling a sense of guilt.

"Jack! I just remembered that you forgot something the last time you were here!" I exclaimed trying to sound believable.

"Oh I did? Can you grab it for me? I'm not finished eating yet," he asked.

"NO. Er, I mean- Why don't you come with?" I foolishly asked him.

"Um, ok," he said getting up from his chair with a look of confusion shown on his face.

I led him to the garage so that way no one would hear the conversation we were about to have.

"So what'd I leave behind?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, nothing. I was just wondering something actually," I faced toward him.

"Couldn't you have just asked me in the kitchen, you know where we just were?" he asked crossing his arms.

"I know about your plan with Millie," I blurted out causing Jack to become wide-eyed," I know you want to keep me away from y/n." I clenched my fist just thinking about it.

"Yeah I do but, that shouldn't be a problem considering, well you know, we are dating," he stood up taller.

"That's a lot of talk for someone who came up with a plan just to keep me away from your girlfriend because you thought I was a threat," I said and instantly saw Jack raise his clenched fist.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I held it for support but that didn't last long because this time he went for my nose.

I felt blood start to trickle down and I couldn't take it any longer. I punched him hard in the pit of the stomach.

"What the hell?"

I quick glanced over to the right to see y/n propped up against the door frame. She must've saw me punch Jack because she did not look pleased.

This time the pain strikes my other shoulder. I was becoming weaker by the second. I decided to fight through the pain and pin down Jack so he couldn't escape my firm grip.

                                 -Y/n's POV-

I notice Noah and Jack had been gone for an abnormally long amount of time so I decided to go check up on them.

No one questioned me as I exited the kitchen. I assume they knew what I was doing.

I checked just about everywhere when I thought I heard a noise come from the garage. I thought I was just hearing things until, I peered in and saw Noah throw a punch at Jack.

"What the hell!" I yelled.

I made direct eye contact with Noah hoping it would send a message that said "stop" to him. I watched Jack punch him back.

"Guys, stop!" I clearly yelled.

Noah then pinned Jack down so he couldn't move. I couldn't take it anymore. Watching my boyfriend get beat up was almost hurting me, even if we weren't really together.

"I SAID STOP!" I screamed my voice cracking due to my body shaking.

They both turned to me and Jack practically threw Noah off of him.

A single tear slid down my cheek. I wanted to help both of them but I thought it would seem suspicious so I only helped out Jack, as we were supposedly dating.

"Are you okay, babe?" I asked him.

"I'm fine, princess," he responded.

I knew he was lying as I could see his cheek was bleeding.

"Come on, lets get you cleaned up," I held my hand out for him.

We interlocked our fingers and I turned my head behind me to see Noah. I felt so guilty just leaving him there but, what else choice did I have?

Jack propped himself up onto the bathroom counter as I searched the cabinet for a first aid kit. Once I found one, I took out some rubbing alcohol and a bandage.

I poured some of the alcohol onto a soft cloth. "This might hurt but I'm here, don't worry," I softly whispered. His response was a simple nod.

I gently started to clean the wound. Jack winced in pain and grabbed my free hand tightly.

"I hate to see you in pain, babe, but I wouldn't want you to get an infection."

"No worries I understand, princess."

I gently placed a bandage on his cheek and couldn't help but ask, "who even started the fight anyway?"

"Noah," he spit out.

"Hmm ok."

-Noah's POV-

I watched y/n and Jack leave me behind as they exited the garage. I felt hurt that y/n just left me here in pain to help Jack.

If only she wouldn't have interrupted our fight. I would've kicked Jack's sorry ass.

I was deep in thought when I remembered y/n didn't know about Millie and Jack's plan. I needed to find and warn her about it. I started to search for her. I finally found her alone in the living room watching something on the TV.

I sat down next to her, "I need to tell you something and don't freak out when I tell you because it might sound a little weird."

"I'm not talking to you," she turned away from me and walked off to who knows where.

What? Why is she not talking to me? What did I do? If anyone she shouldn't be talking to it would be Jack since he started the fight. Maybe it's time I come up with my own plan.
