The rest of the day seemed to have gone by in a blur. For Nikki was home from work and I was getting my make up on before grabbing my outfit for work tonight, along with the bright blue wig.

Yes I wear a wig when I'm at work. Its so the costumers don't recognize me outside of my job. As much as I actually like my job I don't need to put my kids in danger in case the costumers are nut jobs.

But I hate when its costume night at the bar. All the girls working have certain costumes they have to wear. Same with the bartenders. Hence me. My costume is some weird sexy pirate. Which involves me having to wear a pleated skirt, a low cut, push up top and knee high nite stockings. Thank god I don't have to wear heels. I was allowed to wear my flats. Which was a bonus.

I don't know how the girls at the club can walk around in foot high heels. Or dance in them. My feet would be bleeding by the end of the night.

"There." I put the last finishing touches of my make up before throwing my hair up in a flat bun at the top of my head. Easy to slip and clip my wig in place.

Grabbing all of my things plus my phone I make my way back out to the living room where Nikki sat with the kids as they watched a movie. Walking over to the kiddos I placed a kiss on each one of there heads before hugging them to my chest.

"Be good you two and I'll see you in the morning." I tickled under there chins, earning a smile and laugh from them both before standing up right.

Nikki shoved off the couch to walk me to the door of our apartment. "Text me when you get to work and when you are on your way home."

"Yes baby." I smiled at her. She rolled her eyes at me before developing me in a hug. "See you later."

"Have a good day at work. Earn lots of tips."

"I'll try. If I don't, I'll join the girls up on stage tonight." Nikki narrowed her eyes at me making me laugh. "I'm just kidding."

Waving bye to the kids and her I walked out the door heading off to my bartending job at the fast pace strip club.

My mind was else where as I thought of what happened today at Nikki work. Me practically threatening Eric. Hopping he would have said something to her by now. But to my surprise he hasn't. I was going to ask her about it when she came home for work but she seemed to be in a good mood and I didn't want to ruin it with me being nosey. She will tell me if he has said anything. She always does.

Parking my car I slipped on my wig, clipping it into place before getting out to head inside. Walking in the back entrance of the strip club. I was greeted by many of the girls who were running back and forth between the different dressing rooms. All dressed in there costumes.

Which I should be doing the same. Heading into the first dressing room, the girls in there greeted me like usual as I headed over to my personal locker. Stripping out of my usual sweat pants and baggy shirt, I slipped into my costume.

The girls in the room started wolf whistling at me which made me groan. "Oh shut up." I laughed, making them laugh as well. Placing the rest of my things into my locker, and slipping my phone into my shirt. I finally made my way out to the bar.

The place was still empty but was getting cleaned up by the janitorial crew from the early morning shift. Yes this club as two shifts. Plus a two hour space between those shifts. Just for cleaning and restocking the bar shelves.

"Looking good Mira." The boss nodded at me from behind the bar, counting the register money. Before you go off about my name. At work I have a stage name. My alter ego you can say.

"Thanks." I sighed walking behind the bar to clock in. "Is Jess or Star working the bar with me tonight?"

"Star is working VIP tonight. Jess will be back here with you." The boss closed the register walking past me to grab the loud speaker microphone. He announced that the doors will be opening soon and want all the girls fully ready before its time.
