Months have passed since prank gone wrong.

Me and Nikki had been working and chiseling out last minute details for her wedding. Eric and Evan had been helping out as well but not so much. Not since Eric pissed Nikki off and she forbade him from helping out anymore.

So me and her have been on the details. And I have to say. Her wedding is going to be so beautiful.

But it's the night before the wedding and Eric is staying the night with Evan. While me, plus the kids, are with Nikki.

Kids are fast asleep and I'm cuddled up with Nikki in front of the fire place. Silence between us as we watched the flames dance around.

"I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow." Nikki whispered out.

"Just think. This time tomorrow night you will be Mrs. Eric Soldier."

Nikki laid her head on my shoulders. "To also think, none of this would have happened if we moved out here."

"I don't regret our decision."

"Me either."

I wrapped my arms around Nikki. "Your parents coming tomorrow?" She shrugged her shoulders.

Nikki and her parents got into a HUGE fight at dinner last night. They had asked her for over five grand to help her younger sister out of a situation that she, her sister, put herself in, for the hundredth time. And that is an over statement on my part.

Well anyways! Nikki said no. Refusing to help out. As she had before and it backfired on her. She swore that she would never help out again. So when she said no to her parents. They had the audacity to call her cold hearted and selfish. Stating also that they won't show up to her wedding and will go back home to Wisconsin. Then they proceeded to storm out of the restaurant, causing a big scene.

She hasn't attempted to contact them or them her. Sad thing too, was her parents were suppose to walk her down the isle. My parents were going to come up for her wedding as well. But my older sister, who has down syndrome, had gotten sick, so they had to cancel.

There went back up for Nikki having parents walk her down. She has other family showing up but none that she considered close to and she has swore up and down refused having Eric ask his parents.

But she eventually decided on someone. Someone who has been there for her through everything and anything.
Me.

When she asked me to walk her down the isle and give her away. I nearly started crying. And of course I said Hell yes!

"Honestly, I hope they did go home." Nikki sighed. "I don't need that drama tomorrow."

"Want me to tell security not to let them in tomorrow?"

"I already did." She chuckled.

"Well than." I nuzzled into her. "Tomorrow is going to be amazing."

"I can't wait." She hugged me to her. "When will it be your turn?"

I laughed. "Not for awhile yet."

We sat there laughing. Feeling so relaxed and peaceful. Glancing at the time I knew we should be heading off to bed. "Lets go to sleep. Big day tomorrow."

We both trudged to my room. Snuggling under the covers till we both passed out.

The next morning we were in a rush to get things ready. Me and Nikki snoozing the alarm twice. We were a bit behind schedule.

"Did you grab the bag?"

"Yes Nikki."

"All the accessories and material for emergency?"
